SB19 is unique in a sense that they composed a song about a mythological creature, a horror mythological creature, literally a monster and it made so much sense! Manananggal is such a famous monster in Philippine myth that I can’t believe it took decades before a song is made out of it!

It's Just SB19 they are *The Pioneer of PPOP idol group* with this kind of Standard here in the Philippines when SB19 became famous a lot of idol group popping/showing out SB19 pave the way that is why we call them *The PPOP KINGS* as they are the first one to put high standard in Philippine Idol Groups. There are a lot who tried to be known but they are lacking on skill like dancing, singing, lyricism and musicality the way they make sound or music before is not working out but because of Pablo's (the Leader) genius lyricism skills together with his music producer brother Josue and other members Stell, Ken, Josh & Justin they make music or produce music that is very unique and fresh that will surely hit the music chart. Also each of the members makes their own songs or they provide something in making their own individual song (solo songs). All of them can make song and music video of course by the help of their staff and business partners. But all I want to say is that they really make and compose their own songs and help each other may it be for the whole group *SB19* or their solo songs to make it sound world class.

Their laughs were actually "a monster's laughs" referencing a "manananggal". A mananangggal is a Filipino folklore monster. It is said to look like an ordinary lady in the morning, but when midnight strikes, it turns into a scary monster. She will have wings, her hair will be curly, she will look like a witch, but her body will be seperated into two parts - the upper body (from torso to the head) and the lower body (from stomach down to the feet). She will then fly leaving her lower part and will go to the house where a pregnant woman lives. She will stop on the roof, brings out her very long tongue, penetrates the roof till it touches the belly of the woman and suck the fetus out of it. She eats fetus because it is what makes her immortal. She is called manananggal because the word manananggal comes from the word "tanggal" which literally means "remove". She flies by "removing" her upper part. After eating the fetus, she will then go back to where her lower part is and magically reattaches both parts and becomes a normal person again. However, if in case someone sees her lower part while she is away, that someone can put salt or ash on the lower part and the manananggal won't be able to join her body again. You'll know if there is a manananggal on your roof if you hear a bird chirping like "tik tik tik". If you hear that and there's a pregnant woman in your house, just hang a garlic on the window or tie some around the woman's belly. if you do that, the manananggal will be scared and will spare your house and leave. Most Philippine mythical monsters are fearful of garlic.

SB19 are THEM. they are that good. recommendations for you to check out in terms of Ppop: 1. Bini - the girlgroup that is making HUUUUGE waves this 2024. they are ripe for going global. True each member has a strong vocals with different quality, & their ability to harmonize is a topnotch. SB19 hailed as the PPop Kings, coz theyre monster in live performance.
