I add the turtles into my runs as I average princess kills at 10:30 - they give a chance at golden pearls which on Faerlina is around 30g, I've gotten 4 in the last 3 days of farming, which has added 120g to my runs - deffo seems worth it if you have time to kill at the end of runs.

After doing this grind for a couple weeks, couple things to point out regarding things you omitted in the vid... First I want to mention, this is indeed a very solid gold farm route, helped me a ton and definitely outperformed those cocky mages with their ZF gy spams :) 1) that hydra in front of the cave WILL pull 9/10 times because only very rarely will rotgrip walk around it when approaching the cave, making the fight substantially more difficult. The fact you only included the run where it didn't pull pretty much confirms you intended to clickbait. Three possible outcomes from this event (KEEP in mind, hydra hits 3x+ harder than rotgrip): hydra tails behind rotgrip (easiest outcome, 2nd doom on rotgrip ticks before hydra catches up), hydra runs nearly exact same position as rotgrip (difficult outcome, you will have to hope RNG favors you in your death coil to make hydra run the other way to buy you time for 2nd doom to tick on rotgrip), and hydra FRONTruns rotgrip (nearly impossible outcome, you won't have time to cast fear on hydra fast enough before rotgrip catches up, and the hydra WILL catch up to you before 2nd doom ticks, killing you in a matter of 2-3 hits) 2) Also, when calculating the final expected gold/hour, you don't take into account the inevitable deaths which will occur due to these RNG's which lead to time loss & repair bills. Please don't mislead viewers with best case scenario runs . My tip: only do rotgrip if you have a soulstone up, it is not worth the time loss walking back if you die

Im doing it with a SM/Ruin Build and it works quite well. I pull the tinkerer and run to the herb area after bridge with my imp on passive. on the bridge i mark rotgrip and start killing tinkerer. if rotgrip is past the bridge back to the entrance i oull with cod and do the same as staysafe. Im using the VW to bait the AOE from Princess. His Build is not needed for me. And the best thing i dont have to respec for raids.

Hey bro. I have both mining and herbalism. I’m a Hunter and am able to do this about as quick as you do. At my best I kill Princess in under 4 minutes and my average runs are around 12.5 minutes. And that’s with stopping to grab every mining and herb node available. I love this farm and will be doing my own farm guide video in the future. Great work on this man. Keep it up!

I experienced troubles with Rotgrip as the kiting must be flawless and does not allow space for any mistakes and includes tanking... so for all those who have it the same just equip Nifty Stopwatch for 1st phase of the dungeon and then switch to 2nd trinket for princess and you are 100% sure Rotgrip will never touch you and you can easily stop once he is dead and deal with 1-2 hydras that may or may not come with him.

You cannot pull the crocodile with curse of doom without the 20% range increase in Affliction tree. That makes killing him almost impossible since you have to pull with Immolate.

This is a great guide that made me the money to gear out and have flasks (FLASKS! I always had been a elixir guy. Flasks make a huge difference for raid damage) and all necessary pots.

Staysafe thanks for the vid. Little tip for lazy players, get mining and herbing. Then just kill Tinkerer each run. I am doing 50g every 30 minutes. Then can do real life stuff or play an alt for 30 minutes, log back in and do 5 more runs. Far less hassle than dealing with rotgrip and princess imo.

Hey StaySafe, been trying it a couple of times now but I keep getting Rotgrip + 2 hydra's. Can't dot both hydra's because Rotgrip will catch up to me. Any idea how to prevent/counter this?

If you get two hydras, you can despawn them by jumping on the small rock right before you approach princess, right after the two giants to the right. It will despawn them in 10 seconds.

I just use the imp to get duskfield and not waste shards, easily doable, send the imp, activate duskfield, and call it back. 5/8 times the imp survives the first dusk field and can be used to activate once more. Swiftness pot just incase she gets close though with practice you don't even need to use it.

How do you recommend preparing and practicing to do this efficiently? Should I be clearing the whole dungeon and then spending time familiarising myself with the inside and the routes etc? Watching this video over and over too? I've never done anything like this before but it's something I'd like to get into doing as I only have like an hour to play in the week day evenings so if I can spend that hour being super productive then it'll free up my time to play at the weekends allowing me to enjoy the game more.... Put this video on your second monitor or phone and clear Mara at a leisurely pace pausing the video to catch up or restart segments you need. You'll die a lot while you're learning it. It's gonna happen. Learn from it. I died many times my first few hours learning this. But I can pull it off flawlessly now. Like you said practice practice practice. I just dropped my tailoring for herbalism and am excited to get back to the grind on my next day off.

As a druid, I like to run in through purple and grab all the mushrooms instead of killing princess. Was 50g per hour before dm came out but now ghost mushrooms are tanking in price. I use them in alchemy anyway but obviously the cheaper mushrooms are, the less people will pay for ghost dye, etc. It's still a solid 45g per hour even tho I go in, herb, kill the goblin, then log onto my crafting alt to reset and make potions. For druid, goblin is 2+ gold in about a minute to kill whereas princess is barely more gold on average in 5-6 minute kills. If u have an alt account for instant resets, princess might be better than goblin but idk with my luck I get two 1g blues or duplicate rings from her anyway whereas from the goblin I get sapper charge mats or rocket fuel on top of very consistent gold. This is the optimal route for druids. Idk about rotgrip as druid tho. I don't have enough Mana to do what staysafe does, unfortunately. Damn warlocks. And he's tanking my ghost mushroom price, too!

But I cannot Curse of Doom Rotgrip from the bridge, due to not having Grim Reach talented. I can shadow bolt pull Rotgrip but without that first Doom tick he's too high of health when he reaches me and its all over. Appreciate the response.

the biggest problem with rotgrip is the damn rock elementals. its a huge tossup, sometimes they are completely not in the way. Other times they are exactly in the way of where you need to be at the worst possible time.

I'm in full MC/Ony gear as a hunter and I still only get 35g an hour tops. Herbalism is huge on our server. The only other way I can think of is selling the ghost mushrooms on the AH...they go for 1.5g each and I've seen 4-6 of them per run.

Yes I do it as SM ruin even faster than him. Also I use peasant caller for worst case but you don’t even need it. I just attack with imp and if princess starts getting close, I put imp on passive and when he paths through her to get back to me it procs her aoe

THen when she gets to the rock, run the opposite direction to what she's going (so if she goes anticlockwise to get to you, go clockwise), but the key is to strafe back while you're doing that. So instead of staying on the rock, run back as you zigzag, and she will continue to move side to side on the other side of the rock. The best angle to do this is moving her from close to the left giant and the larger rock on the right. I hope you understand what I mean.

The route I use when I pull a hydra or two is to run up towards the elemental rock giant boss, and then dotting them again as they cross the bridge. I jump down from the top(pretty much requires DS build, and I have noticed some weirdness with HP resets if I land on the wall on the way down) run back to the bridge, can dot them again and head towards princess. Or, if there are two hydras/hp reset occurred I will then run back down towards where Tink was using each ledge as a nice jump off and extending their pathing. This is not optimal at all, but it makes it pretty easy to stay alive on a botched pull. good hunting!

I also made an effort to improve my gear, currently sitting at about 250 shadow spell damage and it's a lot easier now compared to when I was at 170.

And I actually amended my route last night, I now enter through orange and gather mushrooms the whole way (2-3 extra this way), and don't kill rotgrip to adjust the time. wowhead claims he has the same chance to drop all 3 blues, but in 50-60 kills I have gotten the axe once...

He's just using the average gold / boss * 5. So 2.7*5tinkerer + 2.2*5rotgrip + 2.9*5princess = 7.8*5 = 39. That is only blues. Also, there's a chance Princess drops 1 item only and it's less than 2 gold so the variance is pretty high.

I had this same problem and had to practice geting my VW to stay within melee range of her so she clouds (but far enough away it doesn't die instantly), and then also understand its gonna take a few minutes for her to actually die. I basically put my VW on passive follow almost immediately after pulling so that he runs slightly ahead of her while kiting so when she starts to catch up, she dust clouds when she is melee range of VW if that makes sense

Elerassa mithril spurs helps your mounted speed not your run speed. Ask an enchanter to enchant your boots with “minor speed”

I recommend having your voidwalker out and sacrifing it the second time she connects. The first time she connects you should be able to just healthstone/death coil and survive.

this requires a very delicate balance and i think just mostly experience, once you get it, you will rarely die to princess again. To me, the most important is to understand the skill pattern from princess, and adjust your Void accordingly; with this, Princess should never connect, or at worst only once. Princess will always follow up with her aoe attack after her boulder, assuming that you have Void in her melee range. So keep him close to her and the moment she casts aoe, pull him back. If you do this well, you should always at her max range. When Void gets low (

currently doing 15 minute jump runs with my warrior friend as a holy pally, and we are half pre bis, 90% of our gold is coming from arcane crystals, we've made a couple hundred gold each so far. sometimes our 57 lock friend will come and speed things up but then its a 3 way cut, but it helps cause sometimes with 2 of us, we have the strats down but the fights are close with a rare wipe, and with the lock we dont wipe at all, cause the trick is having tons of dps, warrior should be doing like 300+ and perfect LoSing the sacrifices

It's considerably easier. I'm sorry but those flawless DM runs are BS, payoff is good. But odds you wipe/die and have to run back are super high. I'd rather Mara farm and have a show/strea/movie on the other monitor. 10x more enjoyable than swaetin it out in DM.
