The STB-1 is widely accepted as one of the most versatile and well rounded tier ten medium tanks, but getting to the STB-1 can be quite difficult. The tech tree is one of the most difficult lines to grind because of the lack of armor and size of these vehicles. Today, I will be showcasing the STB line starting from the Chi-Ri to demonstrate how to play these tanks and what you can do to improve in them!

Great video as always.. I dared to restart this line from STA-1 and I must say I’m positively surprised.. yeah it’s hard to get dmg out in STA-1.. with the Type 61 and the top gun it’s much much easier.. after a few battles it feels like the Type even bounces quite some shots..

Being passive and utilize the quite amazing gun is a very good idea. Also, -10° of GD for hull down and ridge lining is a really good idea. Tho best strat is to read team format before commit into either one of the sides. Then being passive and dish damage while finding flanking or making cross fire opportunities are also very necessary. By doing these strats, you more or less negate the need to run away if you're being lemming trained.

Oh gosh the Maus is a tank I rarely play, but the key features is you have more HP than any other tank, very troll armor, and that’s it. So you’re best suited to helping your team either hold or push a side, but don’t throw your HP away for no reason. However, your point isn’t necessarily to sit back and farm but soak up the attention of the enemy if it will help you team win a side.

Indeed. If they have more meds crossing river, it’s bad news. Gotta bully through, the hull down advantage meds have is so hard to overcome with crossfire. The push through doesn’t guarantee a win, but helps to have a 70% player dropping 4k damage. It was good that we had a Maus and Is4 to bully thru. The push thru also protects any meds that do cross from the heavy/td sniping. Keep up the great content. You and Tomie are the only two CCs that I can still learn from. Got my 60.00% this week at 100,777 games - hope for all our fellow tankers out there. o7

Thanks! I would say IS-4 and E5 are universally considered good heavy tanks, but the E5 tech tree is probably the best grind.

Aftermath discord bot. It’s linked in the video description, but if you’re on my discord server you can check your stats live from there. Either download the bot on a discord server or use it on a server that already has it.

I'm actually so sad that this tank doesn't still have the 313 view range that the m60 does... that's what made it special. It has decent armor, mobility, dpm, pen, and alpha, but none of it was really above average, the great view range completed this tanks playstyle. Can't freakin' stand wargaming...

Ive watched numerous live streams...one thing is pretty common. You routinely...and that means most of the time...have a better team than the other side. That doesnt seem to make RANDOM sense.
