Lowering of the boat is one part of the following courses:
Basic Safety Training Course / D2 - Temeljna sigurnost na brodu
Qualifications to operate a boat and rescue boats other than fast rescue boats / D17 - Rukovanje brodicom za spašavanje osim brze brodice (STCW VI/2-1)
Basic Safety Training Course has been designed to meet requirements of STCW (Including Amendments) section VI/1, based on IMO model courses 1.19, 1.20, 1.21, 1.22
This course should have all seafarers working on board ship. This course is required in order to obtain Seamans Book.
Course D17 - Qualifications to operate a boat and rescue boats other than fast rescue boats (STCW VI/2-1) aims to train participants to safely take charge of a survival craft or rescue boat during and after launch.
