Actually I too have a doubt how they detect if the person has HIV especially in ER. 🌟I think they would perform a blood test for finding the blood grp as well as any other infections. 🌟The doctors who are treating the HIV +ve person won't get infected until the blood of the patient enters the bloodstream of the doctor. The blood can enter if there are open wounds. I guess this should be the answer to your QN.😇
