Thank God for this storyline for giving Leela some amazing moments. What an important storyline I love how the highlight the falsoties in these groups how they use gays and poc as poster boys for their cause. I cannot see redemption for Ste. When you hear of persons rehabilitated from these groups they are usually groomed young Ste is a grown man he knows right from wrong. He knows what racism is and he is going along with it anyway. It makes me sick.

I agree with you for the most part but they used Ste rather than a kid for a reason. They can worm their way into adults’ minds as well and it’s important to show that. The catalyst for Ste was Tegan. Misbah couldn’t save her and Ste blames her for his sister’s death. When she ‘got away with it’ as Ste sees it, this group wormed their way into his mind. Instead of she didn’t get sent down because Tegan couldn’t be saved, it’s she gets away with it because people bend over backwards for Muslims so they get away with everything. They’ve convinced Ste that Muslims are the source of all his problems and have twisted things in Ste’s mind to convince him. After a while Ste started seeing things their way without they being there. It happens all the time. It’s what far right people do all the time. Kudos on Holloaks for showing it.

@@kendon0923 great piece, don't forget as well Ste and Imran. Imran almost killed Ste, burnt his business to the ground "got away as well" in Ste mind. For Ste it's not about being racist, or hating them for religious reasons. He just want them not to be above the law. Who repaid him for the loss of his business. Misbah as a doctor should never have tried to perform surgery on Tegan with her broken arm and with the head space she was in. If she was at the hospital they would never had let her in the operating room. It's sad that Ste cannot see what the others are seeing because he is so angry at the Malick family. But he can be redeem. I don't know y people keep saying he can't be.

Leela is right. Ste is just a poster boy for Stuart's and Johnny's extremist group. Once Ste loses value to the group, they will have Ste be the scapegoat and he will be left all alone.

Yes I can also imagine them throwing him under the bus at some point to take the blame for their actions. Like maybe already with the forthcoming protest going out of hand, and them blaming him for it and them saying it was only meant to be a peaceful protest.

This is the amazing storylines of them all the far right group once as there are all mine faverourts storylines of the show because there haven’t done the far right group Storylines before In the show before Johnny Stuart and Steven did really well done to make it more realistic part of the show and I loved it doesn’t matter what there are but for me it’s the best storylines from the show opera the bestest ever

It’s a shame to see Steven like this, especially when you like him as i do. And maybe this is Kieron last storyline, who knows? But racism must be denounced, and Kieron, Ray Quinn, Chris Simmons excel in their roles and their characters reveal a not very brilliant picture of the human nature. In this distressing description, Leela’s voice appears as that of reason, of hope into Man.

Ste can be redeemed, I don't know y people keep saying he can't be. Eventually he will for himself see that the intentions of the group is not for the better, but stems from hate. Ste will save one r the malick family and then they will all move on.

Ste blames Misbah for his sister Teegans death, that's what started it. Shortly after Teegans death, he met Jonny, Who claimes to be his brother.(to make it easier for Ste to trust him, and let him be in his life/defend him, I guess) He got more and more angry, and took his anger out on the whole Maalik family, and little by little Jonny and Stewart are making him believe(taking advantage of him being vulnerable/angry), as they also do(grooming him), that there is a muslim problem, that needs to be adressed/done something about, so when they told him, that Jonnys friends and him was part of the same group, Who are fighting for british values, because they believe muslim culture etc. Is getting too much(they don't see Themselves as racist/extremists, but they are), Ste joined the group, because he sadly now believe, that they are right.
