Clearly steven is still hung up with the Ryan thing. Shame Harry is always the one trying hard to save that relationship. Hope it works or at least, let James finds happiness with someone else, by not interfering with his life again. James has enough problems with Kyle & dad, to keep saving Harry every single time.

Hurrah for Colin O`Donnell (who wrote this)! Now, thanks to Farrah going to the police, this story line finally has got realism and suspense incorporated in the same scenes and story line. When did we last see that on Hollyoaks? Must be years ago. But now it is there. Plus Duncan James is playing Ryan so well at the moment, it shall be sad to see him go. Thanks for the upload!:-)

I need to say something about this story. You know when you sleep, your brain activity is still working. That's why you dream. Especially when you are under immense stress, your dream is even more vivid. You dream about your high demanding job, your kid who was bullied at school, your spouse who's having an affair, anything. These things stress you so much that with or without knowing it, you bring them into your sleep. Now going back to the story. Ste is still going through his mess like what he said to tegan. So i agree with the fact that ste is not ready for another relationship, even if it is with harry again. So people out there listen. Ste is NOT dreaming about ryan, he is having NIGHTMARES about ryan. He is not sure about his feelings for harry because atm he cannot think straight. Ste needs time to recover and accept all the things he had done. So from there, he will then able to decide if he should or should not continue his relationship with harry. With a clear head that is. As for harry, we all know how harry is. He always wants to be with ste no matter what. To the point that yeah, some people say, annoying. He jumped straight to ste, changing his mind about moving in with james. Harry wants to go back to his old relationship with ste, hoping to move on quick. Too quick i say, because he bought another ring. That is very risky because it can have repercussion like before. History could repeat itself i agree with ste. And ste not wanting harry to go through all those pain again, is love itself.

I think you fail to recognize a very important factor in your view on Ste`s dreams. Ste himself has a history he isn`t proud of (physical and mental abuse of Amy). But that isn`t him anymore. Therefore he is likely to view Ryan much more favorable - based on his own experiences with him, and how he has learned to know and love him. I disagree with you. I believe Ste is showing signs of being deeply in love with Ryan, and that is why he is so determent to keep Harry and Ryan apart - he doesn`t want something Harry says neither to hurt Ryan, nor influence the love Ryan feels for Ste.

Syonan To What I mean is that because Ste himself has a past he isn`t proud of, and no longer is that person he was when he abused Amy physically and mentally (back when they were very young, and lived together as a couple - squatting in an abandoned flat), he is more likely to not identify Ryan solely from his crimes, but instead will think of him and remember Ryan as Ste himself got to now him when they fell in love. Therefore Ste`s dreams are not nightmares, but longings for his lost partner. Others, who hasn`t learned to know Ryan as well and from the same sides as Ste, are more likely to think of his crimes, more than how he was as a person, when hearing his name. Ste, on the other hand, is not likely to do the same, since he knows he himself isn`t the same person he was when he abused Amy, and therefore is more likely to explain what Ryan has done to be out of character to who Ryan really is, and as a consequence would find it easier to forgive him for all he has done. Because Ste loves Ryan, he also has a self preserving need to forgive him, just to be able to live with himself and his feelings, after having learned what Ryan has done. If Ryan did what he did because he was evil, Ste would blame himself for not having realized so sooner, so maybe Amy could still have been alive and the other things Ryan did never would have happened. But if Ryan`s crimes were out of character, and he wasn`t himself when he committed them, Ste would not be justified, to the same extent, to blame himself for not having realized what was wrong with Ryan - since the Ryan he knew was very different to the dangerous Ryan on trial.

I'd have loved it if Grace used her mob connections to independently tail Farrah behind the police's back. Now that Ryan has discovered the wire, Farrah is in trouble. I could totally see badass Grace saving the day 👍🏼

She didn`t do a very good job when she, together with O.B, stormed in without a plan when Eva Falco had Jack on gunpoint. Resulting in Eva turning her gun towards the intruders, and Esther getting shot cause she ran towards Grace, and was hit by the bullet Eva accidentally fired in the commotion. Besides professional criminals would be of little help to Farrah, since they could be arrested for both having interfered with an ongoing police operation and endangering the lives of innocent members of the public, should they attempt to do something, they are more likely to just have observed whatever happened to Farrah, than to try to help her. Criminals are an odd sort who live their lives and operates their "business" by stupid ancient codes of conduct which quite frankly doesn`t belong in modern society. As long as they have the safety of their gang they are tough enough. But should they get caught, most of them are reduced to timid little cry babies, willing to sell their grannies for a reduced sentence, or a guarantee they will not be sent to the same prison as their worse rivals. The police on the other hand - in real life - probably would both have had a tracer on, and surveillance in, the car designated as escape vehicle (which Farrah would have had to arrange - Ryan being held locked up), plus air surveillance and several armed units in tow (most likely some even ahead, in case the escape car would drive so fast it would attract attention to follow it too closely). The wire Farrah was equipped with here, is something I have only seen in movies and tv series pre the 2000s. These days the microphone and tracer would be much more likely to have been incorporated in her car keys, one of her shoes or as a hair clip or ear ring. They could even have attached one to Ryan himself, while pretending to help him in the ambulance. Personally, since Hollyoaks for the sake of suspense needed Ryan to find the microphone - and Ryan having worked as a detective at the same station - I would have found the scene a lot more convincing, if D.S. Roxy Cassidy (who is new at the station) had given Farrah a camouflaged microphone and tracer, without knowing the same microphone and tracer had been used in operations Ryan had been part of. So when he got in the car with Farrah, and saw that camouflaged microphone and tracer there, we viewers got a quick flashback to he himself instructing someone of the range and functions of the combined tracer & microphone - and that way realized Ryan knew he had been set up. If he then pretended to be so nervous, or feel so poorly he needed to have the side window down when they drove, he - by distracting Farrah to look the other way - could throw the object out of the open car window and onto a lorry or pick up travelling in the opposite direction. Or he could neutralize the object by removing the batteries. There are several ways this development could have been just as suspenseful and dramatic, without at the same time being laughable because of the ancient surveillance equipment in use.

i loved them so much until the month leading to ste sleeping with jp, ste cheating with jp was the final nail in the starry coffin for me.right now i will take anything but starry.harry single,jarry,or even harry Scot,i just want harry as far away from ste as possible.i feel like writers are stuck on this idea that obstacles makes couples interesting which it might if the obstacles are not one taking the other for granted and cheating on each other then it just become unhealthy and problematic relationship that as no business existing .

wow, first ste is dreaming about Ryan what the hell after everything did he forget that Ryan tried to kill him and everything else Ryan has done, it makes me sick to watch. harry is fighting for ste and all ste can do is shout at him. cant believe that ste is still in love with Ryan. harry bought ste a new engagement ring so sweet but its too soon he will get his heart broken again by ste. he should have waited. ste finally admit that he does not love Harry anymore I saw that coming because ste has been freezing out harry. Remember Ste has a past where he abused Amy physically and mentally which he isn`t proud of, and which no longer is him. Therefore he is more likely to think of Ryan as the person he got to know and fell in love with, than to identify him as just being Amy`s killer and more. To me, the fact Ste is keen to keep Harry away from Ryan, suggest Ste still to very much be in love with Ryan, and therefore doesn`t want Harry to say something to Ryan which could hurt him, or influence Ryan`s love for Ste negatively. As for Starry or not Starry, I don`t care who neither Harry nor Ste is coupled with (with the exception of James for Harry - that would be too extreme for me, because of the history between the two and Harry`s family and loved ones), provided the relationship/s will be a happy one/s. Both of them have had way too much misery over the last three years. From now on I want only to see their relationship/s in either romantic, feelgood or sexy settings - and the drama of their lives reserved for other parts of their life, than their relationship/s.

The kim storyline is so unrealistic. How is she even alive?. She doesnt have any water. Where does she pee and poop? She isnt even trying to get out. So many materials in the room to make ladder or break the door but she is more interested in wasting her energy talking to that picture.

Harry isn`t a schoolboy anymore. The scenario you describe would not make him happy. I have seldom seen anyone more keen to be in a relationship than Harry. And Ste being his first love, he is the one he wants to be with. That Ste is not the best candidate for someone like Harry, he isn`t ready to face. Judging by how similar both Harry went after Ste when he was with Sinead, and how Kyle went after Ryan, I would say Harry and Kyle - having the same heart on their sleeves all in approach when going after the man they want - would be ideal for each other. Provided they should fall for each other. So far they have barely met, as I recall. But should they, Hollyoaks could have had a chance to introduce a brand new type of couple and relationship, where the relationship as such was steady as a rock and the love warmer than lava and more passionate than anything, and the drama instead was focused on other parts of their lives. I strongly disagree with the view soaps have to twist and turn their story lines and characters all the time. I believe, because episodes airs so frequent, George Bernard Shaw`s words "drama is life with the dull parts left out," doesn`t apply to soaps. Since it is the characters more than the story lines which keeps us glued to the screens, too much twists and turns spoils our viewing experiences, more than enhance it. The occasional murder, infidelity or serious illness can work - but too much and the story lines don`t appear anywhere near authentic to the real life situations they are meant to be about. Ideally, to my mind, soaps should be a nice mixture of genres and including a broad specter of characters. The story lines should spring from the characters` personalities and what they went through in their on screen lives - instead of, as now, a character can flip from kind to evil, clever to stupid and more from story line to story line, or even scene to scene. And more than having the drama evolve from sudden twists and turns in the development - which often can be very predictable, like the hurdles and hoops a couple has to jump or leap through before eventually becoming a couple - by instead of twists and turns switching genres could be introduced as an element. Creating surprise and unpredictability since we as viewers would never be sure - by the start of a scene - where that scene would take the story. Would it cause a dramatic change in the story line between the couple, just be very funny as a scene in itself, or very sexy or romantic. Perhaps it would even serve as an introduction to a mystery or crime story line? Because we as viewers would have gotten used to not having all scenes included with a cliffhanger, the scenes in themselves would be less predictable than how it is now, where if we see a lot of characters driving off in a car somewhere, it is obvious there is going to be some form of accident. Or if a character, like with Harry now, is ready to propose, the person the proposal is meant for will express doubts about the relationship in the scene to follow. It is predictable, and therefore boring, cause we have seen it hundreds of times before. But if Harry, instead of suddenly decide to buy a ring yet again just because of something Scott said, made up his mind to do something else to ignite some passion back into his and Ste`s relationship, either the scenes we would be served while he prepared for the event would keep us guessing what were to come - instead of giving it away by having him carrying a ring - or the even itself could just be a romantic or sexy treat in it`s own right. Or even a funny one, like when Leah, and not Ste, was the first in the door, and Ste had to hold his hand in front of Leah`s eyes, while Harry hid his naked body as best he could. Less predictability, more feelgood and fun and fewer dark story lines, I believe would have made Hollyoaks better. Off course there would have to be some of the latter too. But as it is there is so many of them they become predictable copies of each other, and therefore more tiresome, frustrating and boring, than entertaining, interesting or fun to watch, in my opinion.

She is in the basement, so digging a hole could prove difficult - but she should have been able to use the shelves as a ladder, get through the roof using the sharp edges of the metal from the tins as type knifes - and from there climb into another room through a ventilation shaft. We know they are supposed to be wide enough, cause both Darren and Luke were climbing around in one after the explosion that day.

yeah that too, but she still can get herself out of that room by digging the wall onto the corridor ,then be able to walk to top floor,we have seen people walk in and out for that place ,ste and his kids for one.and those can of soup can make a make shift hummer .she did not even try to find away out of the place except wait for help.

I`m not sure she could? Cause even if she managed to dig a whole in the cement, what should she do about the iron bars which strengthened the wall, and still would be there after the cement had been removed? She wouldn`t have been able to create a hole big enough for herself to escape through, because she would be unable to remove or bend those bars sufficiently. So unless someone appeared outside, and saw there was a hole in the wall (and didn`t mistake it to have been caused by the explosion), digging through to that corridor wouldn`t have been of much help to her. Especially since the security in and around the bomb damaged building had been tightened after the kids` little adventure.

Shining Armor Not the ones in the foundation for my house, and my house is only two floors (3 with basement) - not as tall as we saw the school had to be, judging by how deep Neeta fell to her death. And they are not only vertical bars either, but a grid-like carpet construction of both vertical and horisontal bars. Kim might manage to squeeze her head through one of those grids, after she had dug out all the cement - but not her entire body.
