Well, to be fair he used to abuse Ste a great deal and she probably grew up hearing all sorts from Amy about Brendan. Amy never forgave Brendan for how he treated Ste. Also, Brendan is in jail for several murders, so Leah probably sees a rich lawyer who can buy them things a step up.

Apparently Lucas will be going through a discovery phase regarding his sexuality and Misbah's nephew, Dylan will somehow be in this storyline as well.

I also liked James stepping up because if he wants to Lucas and Leah's stepdad then he needs to make an effort and not just say he's their stepdad without doing the work.As for Lucas, i think it's clear he's struggling with his sexuality and maybe he doesn't wanted teased that because his dad is gay he's gay too.

@@aph1976 yeah because society is so werid about it because people think that because a parent is gay that the kids are going to be gay as well totally not true. But knowing Hollyoaks that's probably why Lucas hasn't really said anything about it. Because people would think it's because his dad and step dad are gay.

James is gonna get in bigger trouble than Lucas intended and that’s when Lucas realises he actually cares about James and tries to save him with the truth But will it be too late?
