Beautiful interview😍 Especially the part about how patient and forgiving horses are with us, and how demanding and judgemental we are towards them...

True, Sonny, I will never forget John and how he made me feel. He's humble. I'd love to come back as John's horse. Looking forward to meeting you in person in January.

This is outstanding! I saw John and Zip at that Midwest horse fair in WI, I had heard about him but was a huge skeptic, then he came loping in, bridleless, on a blind horse- this man changed my entire horse career! I have learned so much and he completely changed my training & understanding of horses! ❤

I think horses CAN love us, but what is missing mostly is LOYALTY' , loyalty is a strong characteristic in dogs, and rare in horses, but I have seen & experienced it. I find it especially more common in the Arabian breed, but these horses were engineered so to speak , that way since the beginning of existence, they are highly people-oriented, it's part of their DNA practically. 😊

“We hear, especially in Texas…’that horse is stubborn…”. That in itself is an ignorant comment. Lack of knowledge, ie, ignorance, is EVERYWHERE. It’s not regional. Now, I could say that ignorance is more prevalent where you are from, simply because I witnessed YOU making an ignorant comment. Would that be fair? Probably not. Ignorant people are everywhere. And conversely, we can find great people/horsemen in all different regions. Keep expanding your horizons.
