Another good idea for excess summer squash is to dehydrate, powder and use to substitute some of your flour in bread making, makes delicious bread .

I diced the zucchini and yellow squash, onion and mushrooms seasoned to taste put in casserole dished and covered and cooked till almost done. Then sliced up the left oover meatballs I had from last nights supper and added that in with some spaghetti sauce and finished cooking. Hubby was happy. Said it was a good alternative to pasta.

Howie is a champ to eat the meal even with a veg he doesn't like. My hubby, also a good man but very stubborn, would make himself a pb&j sandwich rather than eat a meal 'contaminated' by the flavor of veg he doesn't like. 😅 All the more zucchini for me.

Looks sooo good ... I was able to pick some yellow beans, cucumbers, peppers, and all of my radishes today ... Pretty soon im gonna be up to my eye balls in cucumbers, tomatoes, and peppers ... Im so excited ... My garden is doing so good this year ... Ill have a decent amount of beans to throw in the freezer but not enough to can for the year so ill have to buy some but no big deal ... Sorry i missed your last live ill try to make the next one.

I just dig my 4x4' potato bed not too bad 8 seed potatoes and got 4lbs of fresh potatoes and planted sweet potato slip in the empty bed. Plus I already have 18 tires of slip . And just a few hand full of green beans. And tomatoes turning.
