Also if you use counter steal on a round that the opponent doesn't steal they get to pick any Pokémon on screen. Adds a bit of spice to the decision, you have a screen with 3 legendaries do you counter steal to stop it, or do they read that and not steal and you give them any choice they want.

Love the idea of this video! I think what would make for an interesting little addition would be for each steal that isn't used at the end of all the rounds, that player gets that many "any ability/illegal move", would create a different incentive on choosing whether to steal or not

Patterrz Make a six week “match” schedule where each KZbinr plays 6 matches in a season. Each person gets 3 home matches which are hosted on their KZbin channel and comes with a slight advantage (aka - home field advantage). Each week could be the same “and then we battle” scenario for everyone. Keep standings and at the end of the season, compete in a single elimination tournament for the ultimate bragging rights. I would follow something like this weekly! Would be so much fun to watch.

In NU, a common you might see is brambleghast who uses the move poltergeist which only works if your opponent has an item. So what people do because of that is use a dark type that doesn't use knock off with it (basically just overqwil lmao). Sorry for the long explanation but that's the reason.

Again another great battle!👏 Maybe it could be cool if you would fight eachother to choose a starter? So you both have a team of 6 unrandomized pokemon and you all see the 3 same starters. You fight eachother in a 1 mon vs 1 mon battle out of the six you have. The winner chooses a starter for itself and the loser. Pokemon that already battled can not be used for the other rounds. You keep doing it until you have a team of 6.

New Idea for a video Steal or Split stats. if both players Split you take the sum of each of the stats of the 2 Pokemon and split each stat 50/50 for those 2 pokemon. if one Steals and the other Splits the one who Steals takes half of each stats of the Pokemon the other person picked for their chosen Pokemon. and if both players Steal both players half the stats on the 2 chosen Pokemon.

Twist on the Steal or No Steal concept: You both look at each other's starterss. You pick one starter and decide steal or keep. If you both say Keep, you both keep the pokemon you chose and get to give it some buff. If one steals and one keeps you, the stealer simply gets BOTH pokemon. If you both pick Steal you BOTH keep your pokemon you chose but they are NERFED.

Its base speed is 30, you could shell smash and STILL be out-sped by a lot of mons, how do you sweep before you’re whittled down?

Whittled down. He's bulky and has recover. And 348 speed with 1 shell smash isnt anything to sneeze at. Shell Smash Recover does leave you with only 2 attacks but Fire Blast and Fairy Tera Blast hit most mons. I beat a Palafin Hero with it in Draft League just last week (Granted I was Dragon Tera for that one)

Should do steal or not steal where there’s only 6 rounds, if you choose to steal during your opponent’s round they get any ability (prob with restrictions on huge power and the like) on one of the remaining 2 pokemon, but if you choose not to steal on your opponent’s turn you get any ability for yourself on one of the two they didn’t choose

Start with a lot of pokemon each. And everytime someone loses a battle they steal a pokemon. Go until someone has no pokemon left.
