Heya! The Kingfisher is my work, with some help from Spider-Wolf, the Merlin was entirely made by me, while the Wolf-Spider drone (The small tank drone) is almost entirely the work of Spider-Wolf herself but with some aesthetic and functional help from me. I really appreciate that you like them!

Also, yes, the Wolf-Spider is entirely reliant upon the Kingfisher for its detection, while the Merlin serves as both a detection drone, and flings small missiles. If given proper time, the Kingfisher actually actively PRODUCES new drones, two new Wolf-Spiders, and three new Merlins from memory.

this makes me interested in the idea of a brood mother. have a ship that can spawn loads of disposable drones at enemies as well as some that stick closer to the brood mother to act as its defense, all while the mother itself has very minimal self defences, and simply sends it children to fight in its stead.

On the first vid I suggested that he try a survival run where he can't manually control any weapons or the vehicles they're on, only acting as a mothership while his AI drones have to do all the fighting. It's cool other people would like a similar thing, gives me hope it might one day happen.

@@aidanmorris5309 When you've watched enough youtube, you get faster at watching youtube. I started out at 1.25x speed, now most content is nearly unwatchable without 2x speed. The only stuff I slow down for is when someone already talks quite quickly, there is extremely fast past action, or there are very complex topics and/or wordplay. If I miss something, I can usually rewind a few seconds to catch it. Humor is all about timing, so humor videos I have to slow down for.

2:49 to remedy this I recommend putting on a passive radar. It detects radar waves not just from enemy vehicles, but also missiles, letting you detect them from vast distances. Won't work against any other missile types but let's be real what doesn't use radar missiles.

The "weird armour" you saw, was HEAT armouring, using beam slopes and wedges to provided armour stacking to the adjacent blocks whilst still acting as an air gap from most angles of impact. You can jury rig it to act as HESH armour as well by alternating it between metal and wood. Quite a few tanks in the land campaigns use that armour scheme, as HESH and HEAT are otherwise devastating against small, heavily armoured craft, because it ignores the actual armour and just detonates the internals.

i think an interesting idea for one of the little tanks/drones would be to have a missile array that just fires off barrages of 2 or 3 missiles at a time with flares and whatnot to attract the enemy missiles, but these little missiles also have the capability to dmg the enemy and possibly lure their own missiles back at them

Hear me out on this Lathrix: Melee Plasma Blade Drone. It's a flying drone with a massive plasma blade arcing across its front. It flies into your enemies and cuts them into pieces. You know it would be amazing and I don't think I've ever seen you use plasma for melee.

From the depths is a series i wish to see in the future. I do love to see the return of a old subtle joke. As for the idea of the small drone, how plausible is the idea of a microsized cram bomber? If you have a kinetic/he payload, the top armor of most designs is likely to be a bit weak, so it could be effective at even low gauge. And if nothing else it would be fun to see a small fast drone just constantly harrying a target with a single small cram bomb. Good luck intercepting those at 15-20 meters. With that, my duty to the Lathrixian legion is done. Its wonderful to see you back.

Also use simple breadboard to drop drones: hold distance = 10 (parked in tank) -> hold distance = 100 (get them away from tank) -> release About drones: Your drones is running out of fuel, one map view (E) and set energy sharing to keep drone battery full This way you need only battery and motor on drone, instead of engine and fuel blocks Feed it information and energy, just IRL

There is a toggle to allow you to hold control/shift/whatever other modifier keys and still move. I think, in the vehicle control setup window (in the settings when you open escape) it'll be buried somewhere within each of the bindings, so you'll need to fix it manually, but it's useful to do anyway.

I think the mini tank should be deployed from the back, and you should have like 5 of them running around you at all time, coming back to refuel and repair. That baby tank was really cute and basically stoled the video. I think having a flying drone would be cool as a scout, having cameras that you can use to zoom in and see the enemy's from far way. Maybe the flying drone could be deployed from the back, launching up vertically into the air. I do think it would take up quite abit of space though, so having them outside of the craft would work. Awesome video as always, and glad to see FtD back and watch the cute tank run around and do what mini tanks always do, be annoying. Edit: The mini tanks name could be shoot and scoot, with the flying drone being Sensors or Swooper.
