It's actually happened to me a few days ago) We were fighting a Blade with my newbie friend, but hostile gally came there and sunk us, called us "noobs" in chat. When I respawned last time in water, I ratted into Blade and tuck. They sunk it as well and I stole it, and then proceed to run from them for 40 minutes until I get bored (I didn't know that I can sell it for base value ehh) That was so much fun and relief xd

Did this to a poor galley crew, voted next to one of the oblivious teammates and they didn't know what was happening until it was too late... set a crash course to Port Merric and sold the COF while they were distracted sinking a ship with entirely skellys on it. The sword lounge to the back canopy from the crows was sweet though.

Just steal it from someone else. 😉👍🏻 It happened to my crew 3 TIMES in a row during the first few days, so finally we just decided to steal it several times, then we also took it the normal way a few times. The biggest tip I would give is if you want to take it, make sure you go to it EARLY after it spawns. If it’s been sitting on the map for a while, or you change servers and you don’t know how long it’s been there, most likely someone is already tucking on it, or multiple crews might already be fighting over it.

Lmao literally took skeleton burning blade solo yesterday. I had sunk when fighting it, but then when I came back, another sloop finished it off. I cannon myself to the ship and killed the sloop, then took it for myself! Then defended it by myself. Lost my chest of fortune sadly and I had to sell the ship because a sloop was making it impossible to do rituals. Still the most fun I’ve had in a while!

The burning blade is really not that hard to defeat while it’s PVE solo or duo. It scales in difficulty with the size of your crew. I’ve found it’s fastest to sink solo personally. If it’s crewed it’s always a toss up. Some crews can barely manage a sloop let alone an even slower moving version of a galleon.

Someone comments this on every video. 🙄 It’s a setting in the game for streamers. It changes all the names to these fake names so it doesn’t reveal real names on the stream. They are different people every time. 👍🏻
