Dumb idea, take a priced spell from a level and bring it to a holy mountain, then do one of the stealing tricks. It might work, it might not.

I am pretty sure this is an intended mechanic. Because the devs did take the extra step to make a pricing area for the spells, which is completely unnecessary from a technical point of view. It would be much simpler to just make the item have a price tag and that's it, but no, they went the extra complicated way to have an area that adds price tags to items while inside it, and remove it when it gets moved out. Or in simple words: if the devs actually took the time to implement a trigger to remove price tags, then it is most likely an intended mechanic.

Furthermore, since this mechanic does not work on spells inside levels, we know that a class attribute or subclass or whatever thing for noita's language for pricing already exists. Subsequently, the developers made a conscious decision to NOT implement this mechanic for holy mountains. Either they were really lazy and wrote that part of the game at 11 pm, or this mechanic was intentional. The third solution is that there is a hidden difficulty to adding this mechanic to holy mountains, but I can't imagine that a large roadblock would be present when the mechanic itself is already created for spells outside the holy mountain.

@@stephalloplayz A fourth option is that they implemented the code for spells at the holy mountain first, in a way that required the bounding box, and then later implemented spells with cost out in the level, and were forced to write a more robust way to do pricing for that, but then didn't go to update the original holy mountain code to the new system, since the holy mountain code was already working well enough, and working on other parts of the game were more important than fixing something that already works.

One cool thing that I discovered is that you can easily clear levels with circle of transmogrification if you add orbit, boomerang accelerating shoot and something like electrical damage modifier. If you cast one circle it will stay in place. But if you cast many with this wand they will fly around, even outside the screen borders, and kill everything without destroying environment. It's super fun, trust me .

Maybe the faster levitation perk can make you fly vertically so fast that casting tentacle simultaneously is fast enough to steal the spell without having to modify the spell. Maybe it even works without faster levitation

I Started this game a few days ago because it popped up on my Steam ! Played Starbound before and loved it and that kind of got me in to these 2D scroller games , so i got Noita ! Its a real gauntlet ! Its really hard , but i've had much fun with it during my first week, i think its nearly impossible to complete this game by legit means or without the help of mods or save folders ! :D Im getting a lot of usefull information from your guides about this game ! You can steal spells with the help of freezing charge. Just shoot a lot above spells and they will be pushed up to the sealing

I stumbled on making them fall out of the holy mountain early on in a run because I went crazy with acid and melted the floor for the lolz, though as you'd expect an angry steve shot me dead not long after I realized what had happened :P

there are secrets areas that all have their own secret enemies.

The torjuntalaite (turrets in hiisi base that cant move) count as different enemies if theyre facing a different direction for some reason, so it increases the count to 172/171

I don't know what caused it or how it works, but a number of times I have found free spells sitting in a clump in the level. It looked like there might have been a shop there, but it was somehow destroyed or broken. I've never been able to recreate it myself though...

That was probably from a chest, chests can drop spells and sometimes they break open offscreen.

I'm not completely sure, but check if in a new run the sun is in the moon. Then check if there's anything in the dark moon. If necessary make sun in moon, and only after that make dark sun in dark moon. If there's anything in dark moon, send it somewhere else

This is a common mistake and is frustrating. You fed the sun in the wrong order which lead to it making another regular sun instead of a dark sun. You can create another sun in the same run but this time make sure to feed the essences to the dark sun in the right order otherwise you will just end up with 3 suns!

It doesn’t move the perks sadly. In fact I don’t know of any method of moving perks around other than dropping your perks on the ground at the perk removing alter.

People who datamine the game claim that there is a specific trigger in the code for spells in the holy mountain that allows for them to be stolen. I don’t datamine so I have never seen it myself, just what I’ve heard.

I still newish to Noita (40hrs) but yesterday in the Mines there was a small flooded section with 4 or 5 free spells just sitting there. Seemed to me that a spell shop had been destroyed but I have no way of knowing.

I got my wand duplicated after my game crashed. I picked up the wand, played several seconds and my game crashed. Position went back in time but I kept the wand. When I got back to the spot where the wand was located it spawned again with exact same stats and spells. Maybe there's a fine line between alt f4 and wand pickup to duplicate it?
