you CAN pick up a sword in the intro without picking up a weapon before then, you must send a weapon to the very beginning, where you have the MsgNotFound sword, but in this instance, all you need to do is unlock the weapon inventory by picking it up, then you can pick up swords in the room of awakening in that save, slice through the foliage, and escape

i really like that in the ganon fight, you edited the fight together, especially in phase 3, to really make ganon look tough and skilled, and not just a pushover link can delete. it makes it more intense and watchable

You have to admit the visual on that looks like it would make an awesome and deadly dagger though! 6:10 Just think is they added daggers to game to go with the stealth sets and the fuse ability with the addition of some deadly poisonous plants and critters you can fuse to a dagger for more powerful sneak strikes. In games with true sneak attacks the character is supposed to remain silent when landing a sneak attack while Link foolishly makes vocal noises because hes swinging big blades.

So I already have a safe file where I can't keep the sword. This looks very plausible that we can somehow transfer the Decayed Master Sword from one file to another, right? Either way, this is amazing!

You would need to be able to drop it which the game prevents but, Im going to try to put it on a weapon stand and see what happen.

@@Timberwolfee I've been trying it however it is impossible to fuse to any weapon to it. Though we can use ultrahand on it before you pick up the sword when it's in the roots. I am quite clueless at the moment. And I also don't know about you but after I have picked up the sword, and reload that save file the sword leaves my inventory. I like your idea to try on the stand so please let me know of your result. Thanks!

If you move the decayed sword far away with ultrahand and then pick it up. you will fall through the ground and then get instantly placed into an invisible Room of Awakening. You can't pick it up in the Depths through, most likely because everything is unloaded up there. If you try, Link will just briefly stare forward and then look back down at the sword.

Thanks! I try! (And the power of editing) to let you in on a little secret I had to do demon dragon 3 times to get the last hit! Once you get him down low enough the final hit finishes him off and it doesn’t matter what damage the weapon does. So I was hard to do the math. Oddly enough the decayed master sword only had enough hits for like 5 hits even tho I never used it.

One of the best videos I've ever seen. Great job. 🙂 You used a bunch of glitches that I don't recognize - what was that shortcut into the castle? Why didn't you die when you hit the ground? Why does it say "colgera" while you fight the demon king?

It’s in the Hyrule castle well. I clip through the ceiling. I used a glitch called FDC or Fall Damage Cancel. I skipped the boss rush clipping thru the door and that makes some weird stuff happen with the health bar because Colgera is flying out there the whole time haha.

Its funny that the game is actually easier at 4 hearts because normally things that would do like 8 hearts are now only bringing you down to 1/4th a heart and if you only have 4 hearts you can almost always have the 1 shot protection for just a couple apples or something

Easiest way to do this is to transfer a weapon into the prologue area with the first part of the infinite durability Master Sword glitch / msgnotfound sword glitch in order to unlock picking up weapons / unlock the weapons menu in the prologue (weapons can be picked up in the prologue to unlock the weapons menu, but normally the weapons menu cannot be unlocked after the prologue but before picking up the decayed Master Sword. The game expects the weapon menu to only be able to be unlocked when picking up the decayed Master Sword in the Room of Awakening. So if the weapons menu isn't unlocked in the prologue before the Room of Awakening I believe the game disables it there before you pick up the decayed Master Sword), And than simply save file transfer a weapon into the save before picking up the decayed Master Sword but after unlocking the weapons menu from the prologue (I think the game autosaves before picking up the decayed Master Sword), and you can then cut the vines to leave the room, do the tutorial island and finish the Master Sword cutscene at the end of the tutorial section, and then you are free to warp back to the Room of Awakening and pick up the decayed Master Sword. I got a screenshot during the cutscene of picking up the decayed Master Sword with the restored Master Sword on Link's back. Double Master Swords in one cutscene lol

Is there a way to avoid taking it from Zelda's head, or dropping it after? That way hopefully the game would default to using the decayed sword that's in your inventory for the cutscene... although the other cutscene didn't change so this could be a dud.

I 100% looked into that, and if a way is ever found you best bet I'll revisit it. but I think it would have the same outcome, just nothing in my hand. I already dont take anything from her hand. If you watch my last video you'll see that its empty but I still go thru the motions.

Sorry for responding late how it works: There are 2 ways to do it one with memories that is consistent and one without memories if you want to use one with memories prepare to throw the weapon pause watch 4x memories for one handed 5x for spears and 9x for claymores then load your save but if you dont have access to memories pause just before you hear the throw sound and load a save

You can do throw SLD on 1.1.2
