We're beginning a new playlist, "Fundamentals of Ham Radio." You can find it at kzbin.info/aero/PL0R9jy9LZw_3TdOFlYqaljCAttZ_Oa4d0.

@@davecasler while I appreciate this playlist, what I am getting at is a playlist that starts even before ham - ie electromagnetic waves, modulation, and basic circuits. Then ham and antennas!

@@MathCuriousity My highly technical videos don't attract many viewers. See kzbin.info/www/bejne/i5bWo31qi92EfNU. In 6 years, it has only attracted less than 20K views. Over the last 28 days, it had 20 views.

I made a stealth fan dipole using super thin 28 gauge black wire I bought from DX Engineering. For the spreaders I used clear 3/8" diameter acrylic dowels I bought on Amazon. Its 32' off the ground and is nearly invisible if you don't know it is there.

How is it holding up in the wind?
@Daimajin696Ай бұрын
@@davecasler Very well. I used 300lb braid fishing line along with the top course of wire for strength. I live on the shore of lake Winnipesaukee, NH and have a direct West to East wind most days. The dipole is anchored to my house on one side then to a 16' long fiberglass dock whip on top of my garage with the opposite side attached to a 6' dock whip on my shed which is bent slightly to tension the dipole wires. The real test will be if it can handle the brutal ice and wind this winter.

Dave please create a NEW PLAYLIST IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER TO HELP PURE BEGINNERS UNDERSTAND THE FUNDAMENTALS OF ELECTROMAGMETIC WAVES, MODULATION, CIRCUITS, AND ANALOG AND DIGITAL TRANSMISSION. Stop dodging my requests! Nobody can benefit as a beginner because you have thousands of videos all over the place! We don’t know where to begin!!!! Water water everywhere and not a drop to drink!

Yes, it’s a problem. Manpower problem. Someone volunteering to construct playlists Would be great!

@@davecasler please friend Dave, it would be amazing if you could just get us started. Just pick out say 100 of the most fundamental videos and put them in a playlist you call “THE FUNDAMENTALS”

@@MathCuriousity We've already started a playlist that you might enjoy: kzbin.info/aero/PL0R9jy9LZw_3TdOFlYqaljCAttZ_Oa4d0

@@davecasler I will check it out and get back to you. I figured the whole point of your site is to educate beginners and motivate and support them; I do hope you heed my call for a proper playlist!
