Fantastic Claire, this made my day. I don't go camping (well not for quite a few years and iv'e never gone wild or stealth) so what brings me round to watching your brilliant channel! I had seen some youtube channel and they were talking about stealth camping and the big struggle it is to find some where that they could do it leagally and without winding the land owner up, whichl got me interested being an ex camper. So i started watching a few video's which i found quite interesting and after a while youtube threw your channel in my direction, so i watched a few of your vlogs and i got hooked. Some of the things that you do and the places that you make into your own home for the night would have me running a mile but you just take everything that mother nature can throw at you and with a big smile on your face : ) not only that but photo's and editing are off the scale. I think that your great sence for fun is infectious and give so many people a lift after a hard day at work ect. So thank you cheering us all up and being a great inspiration : )

Even with a good ghillie suit, you always have to be mindful of motion, light, color/shine, and silhouette. The human eye picks up on all of these, really easily. Great video, looking forward to your next adventure !

I love this so much!! Absolutely agree with drifting round a city to get to know it. Walking everywhere is a very Welsh thing as well 😅 When we visited Berlin, we intentionally got off the train on the other side of the city to our hotel and walked across. One thing we do is to look on Google map for the green spaces in cities. Then join the dots between them. You always find cool little pockets of life around the green spaces. Can't wait to follow more if your LA adventure! ❤

I used The Snugpak Jungle Blanket together with a hammock and a One Tigris underquilt when I was camping in Sweden this summer. I was glad that I had the XL version of the Jungle Blanket which I could partially double up when it got down to 6°C with cold Wind coming from the Lake. Great piece of kit if it doesn't get too cold!

To be fair, using a brown+green camo netting is perfect for this environment. You are trying to stay lower than the green forest undergrowth, and the floor of the woodland is covered in brown leaves. Optically it basically merges your camp into the floor.
