Great video production, as always! Loved the trick with the bag and cotton. It might sound silly, but I always carry two tampons in a pouch with small items (like spare batteries, spare lighter etc). They could be used for Firestarter and filtration very easily, as a tampon is essentially compressed cotton. That way, you reduce the volume of it.
@AlexWander8 ай бұрын
Thanks so much! Yeah tampons are definitely way better that classic cotton ball! 👍👍👍👍

Damn, I thought this was going to be about stealth camping in an urban environment. Nonetheless, another excellent video! Could we get a link for the poncho tarp? Been in the market for one. Thanks brother!
@AlexWander8 ай бұрын
This one for the outdoors environment but I’m gonna plan another stealth camping video in an urban environment 🔥🔥 thanks brother!!! The company who made my poncho tarp is out of the business now. But there are good alternatives : HelikonTex makes a good Poncho tarp for the price, Carinthia Pro makes a great one but it’s expensive.

10 seconds into your video and the quality of your presentation is simply astonishing - again. As to the questionable water source, packing activated charcoal tablets might be a good idea, too. Depending on your heat source, you might also wanna consider to dig a fire pit for additional visual cover.

Thanks so much! i will look into those charcoal tablets! I agree with you a hole in the ground could add more cover !

Hi Alex, I'll try to keep this short. I just found out about your channel and it's great. It's been some time now since I started thinking about making videos about being outdoors just like yours, maybe a mix with Rob Hamilton's style videos, since I also wanna make motorcycle content. Up until now I thought this was a bad idea, that doing something like this will fail in Italy, and that this is "american stuff". But you just inspired me to do it and showed me that this works beautifully. If I ever get somewhere with my project, I would like you to know that it is also because of you. Thank you.

I'd like to practice minimalist sleep set-up like that all year long but I'm afraid of ticks. For the stats, could I ask how often were you bitten?
@AlexWander4 ай бұрын
I hear you! I’m a tick magnet , if there’s one in a forest I will find it on my body, I’ve been bitten so many times in the last 15 years but I built the habit to check all my body every time I come back home. The good thing is that it takes around 18/24 hours before they start to Suck exchanging what can put us in danger. If I find myself more that 24 hours I always have a good light, good tweezers and a mirror to check myself before to go to bed in the forest or early in the morning.

@AlexWander7 ай бұрын
SHTF, an acronym for “Shit Hits The Fan,” It’s a broad term that encompasses various scenarios, from natural disasters like earthquakes and hurricanes to man-made crises like economic collapses or political unrest.
