I live in the US and could listen to you talk allll day and night. 🔥 awesome tips by the way! Going to #Stealth my Prius tonight ✅ Thank you!

Exactly how I did my window covers although mine are not so neat! After testing them out, I've decided to put black something or other to face out so it looks more like tinted windows and hopefully more stealthy looking. I got myself some 'slide over the door' sunshady cover thingumybobs so I can crack the windows open at night but keep the bugs out when the lights are on. My next purchase will be deflectors for the windows to do the same and keep rain out. Great vids, keep em comin'!
@wagonman632 жыл бұрын
How I did mine was two sheets of the thermal wrap stuck together then covered both sides with the black 4 way stretch carpet and then black gaffa tape around the edges. This makes it look even more stealth as from the outside the windows just look black and not all the shiny foil making it look less obvious someone is camping inside 👍

yeh its that silver shinny look i want to get rid of

@@wanderingwhere My window covers the same as yours. I just taped one side of my covers with strips of black tape (couple of quids at Home Bargins)

Black does absorb more heat from the sun though. So that's the negative of the stealth look.

Brilliant, and thank you for showing your mistakes too so I can avoid them. I too have watched umpty gazillion vids on this. One other showed the person just tracing the reflectix (what we call it over here) right on the window and I thought "Hey! Why on earth WOULD you make a template when you can just do that?" Thanks again for taking the time to make this. I've got all the stuff, just gotta get brave this weekend and start cutting things up. Currently trying to decide between fabric and black foam board for the reverse side.

I made mine using a yoga mat. Seriously. It completely blocks out the light, it's easy to cut, it's firm yet flexible, it's soft and insulated, and condensation doesn't wreck it because it's made to withstand sweat. Also maybe a thick tarp would be a good material to use too?

Much obliged for this idea. Instead of leaving the insulation by themselves, I used black poster boards facing the interior. They popped in like a glove, just be sure to include a hook at the center to easily pop them out.

So did you just give your make and model to get the proper measurements or did you pre measure? Do you have the website you used and was it hard to install the tint? Thanks

Put an edging of black tape to increase size of your mistake and it bends into the crevice to secure. As another poster said, make a tape "grab" Tab so easy to get out!

Hi, how did you stick it to window? Does it stay up by itself? 3:22 suction cups. 0:23 Thermawrap.
@wanderingwhere3 жыл бұрын
ive found that all mine stay up by themselves with no suction cups as most my windows have a little recesses that the thermawrap slots in then i go round the rest of it and finger it into the groves around the window if you get what i mean, i dont use anything on my front window though as i now have curtains but would imagine u would need suction cups for that
