I love car camping!... I have a 2019 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off Road, and have a self inflatable mattress made by Deepsleep overland to perfectly fit the contours of the 5th gen 4Runner's rear, with seats down.. It is a solo mat, so I can still have a ton of storage, on the other side!.... I have a rooftop tent, but only use it if my husband and I are together on a trip.. If not, I don't need to bother installing it. I had a Defender 110, but it was not as off road capable as I needed.. I live in mountains of western Canada, and we go to very remote places.. I needed something that can take the punishment and articulates good.. It was my 3rd Land Rover, so I love the brand, but only as daily luxury driving!
