I just bought on their site for $127 with shipping and tax. So far every review and video is 5 stars.

There's nothing I agree with more than "cardio is the worst part of life unless it's on the basketball court".
@sportconsumerfamily66503 жыл бұрын
I get that - I played basketball competitively for 10 years and I NEVER really was aware of the cardio workout I was getting while in the middle of a game!

Great video! Just came across an add for this and considering buying one. Have you stuck with it? Had improvement and results? Would love an update!

Yes, in fact after about 2 weeks I ditched the video games because my intensity level required some focus and I found I didn't like the distraction as much. I stuck with the trainer itself every day for 3 min (had to break up sessions at 3 sessions for 1 minute each). Now, more than 2 months later, I can do 3 minutes in one session and I do it EVERY day. It does help. I used to do regular planks on the floor, but this one is more comfortable and challenges supporting muscles because it moves.

Your son’s back was bent in for a lot of that. I recommend coaching him to keep his back straight.

If you can do a plank for a minute the rest is a waist of time. The board seems to actually stimulate the core muscle but it doesn't look like it builds the muscle like a crunch would if done correctly with tension on the core. Ryan needs to keep his back straight and not let it sag.

I want to download the app and buy a piece of wood and some foam
@sportconsumerfamily66504 жыл бұрын
You could, but the catch is the pivot point under the platform. I actually forgot to talk about that in the video (I make my videos way too long anyway) but it's crucial to have the right motion and friction in that motion, so if you can engineer that, then just download the app and you're good to go!

Sport Consumer Family ive done a lot of thinking of how maybe I could hammer in a metal ball joint into a triangular wooden base, but It seems difficult since I have no tools. I’ll have to stroll around Home Depot for ideas but I’m pretty sure I’ll buy it.

Sport Consumer Family ive done some research into ball and socket joints and they run $15-40 dollars, and idk their load capacity, plus wood, foam, tools, and time, it’s probably going to be $100 dollars anyway 🤦♂️😣

I heard this one is better than the cheaper one because the padding is thicker?
@sportconsumerfamily66504 жыл бұрын
I wish I could add a helpful reply, but I only ever tried this version, so I have no idea if the foam is thicker. I can tell you that my arms did not ever hurt for lack of padding, but I did have some (pre-existing) shoulder issues flare up with the pressure on my shoulder that resulted from my build-up of time as my abs developed!!

Did you consider the yellow or green model? What was the reason for choosing the orange model?
@sportconsumerfamily66504 жыл бұрын
Honestly, when I went to Amazon, it was the ONLY color option at the time using the link I found for the best price. Even now, if you click the link up above in the description, it'll take you to a seller that only shows orange. For me, it didn't really matter, so I never really gave it a 2nd thought! Cheers,
