The technical concept of this antenna reminds me of the Alpha Antenna EZ military or Military 2.0. I like how they added the HOA stealth bit from a marketing point of view... :-)

Smart, fantastic option for those of us hams under HOA circumstances to consider instead of a loop antenna. Bonus points for the bird feeder option as it's friendly for wildlife visiting. Keep the "bad boy goatee" look Eric as it suits you to a tee!

I thought HOAs couldn't ban ham radio antennas? Our HOA bans antennas and around a year ago my next door neighbor installed a hundred foot tall telescoping tower in his backyard. When he was confronted by the HOA, he told them that since he had a federal ham license they couldn't touch him. A year later and he's still got the antenna up, visible from completely outside the neighborhood...

I think the FCC rule is "reasonable accommodation". Whatever that means. HOA rules will be specific to the HOA and type of house (freestanding home with yard vs townhouse). I checked my HOA docs for our townhouse and they don't allow drilling holes in the townhouse siding, mounting of radio antennas, etc etc. Portable ops for me for now. Sounds like your friend went for it and won :) 73 de Tim N7KOM

Depends on the state. Here in Pennsylvania, they can't ban anything. State law prohibits it. The best they can do is make sure that your tower/antenna is "safe". § 302. Restriction on municipal regulation of amateur radio service communications. (a) General rule.--A municipality that adopts an ordinance, regulation or plan or takes any other action involving the placement, screening or height of antennas or antenna support structures shall reasonably accommodate amateur radio service communications and shall impose only the minimum regulations necessary to accomplish the legitimate purpose of the municipality. (b) Reasonable accommodations.--A municipality may impose necessary regulations to ensure the safety of amateur radio antenna structures, but must reasonably accommodate amateur service communications. No ordinance, regulation, plan or any other action shall restrict amateur radio antenna height to less than 65 feet above ground level. www.yorkdispatch.com/story/news/2020/02/20/state-law-protects-amateur-radio-operators-frustrates-neighbors/4788331002/

17 foot stainless steel vertical whip is hardly what I would call stealth, but I digress, honestly this is really nothing more than a Chameleon CHA MPAS Lite which sells for $340 ($160 less than the TN07).

I will try on my 7300 and report back this week. I bought one of these a few weeks ago. If you do the research for what this delivers the price is close to other products that offer similar bands. The others are no where as easy to setup as this one is. The HOA wasn't my reason for my purchase. I moved out of an HOA due to restrictions. I wanted an antenna that's portable and covers almost all bands without tuning or needing to fiddle with coils and taps etc. It really just works from band to band. Its stainless steel durable and weather proof. Well made.

$500 bucks for $5 worth of pvc, wire and glue from Home Depot? The inventor and the ham community would be better served had the price been more reasonable, maybe $100. For this amount, it makes the inventor look greedy. Keep it, there are better, and less expensive options.
