Mandingo, sounds like you had a panic attack. Not that I’m an expert or anything like that. Crowded, enclosed spaces, like shopping centres, could have brought it to a head especially as you are an outdoors guy. Like I say, I’m no expert but have a lifetime of experience! Plus thanks for mentioning Australia. We’re going to make you an honorary Aussie. Seriously Mandingo, please reconsider doing “ appearances “. Ps. Croc meat is good!!

@BLOTOUTDOORSSHOW Hey, Chris, ❤ All of my life I have had to deal with chronic anxiety and depression. I grew up in a toxic environment and family. With it, came a lot of constant stress that I still live with. It has gotten better over the years and lessened. But it is something I will be living with for the rest of my life. So like all the other cool Mandingos here said already before me in this comment section: do not feel bad about neededing to talk about your anxiety. And adjusting to being a KZbinr and becoming more recognized is nothing to be embarrassed about if it is the cause. As long as you have a great support system like us good folk down in this comment section to entertain you back as you do us, we got your back!!

Let me explain why in a very short sentence.... You mate, are a normal guy who loves what he does, is not afraid to say it how it is, including talking about your mental health and above all, Youre just nice bud. Pretty sure everyone here would be happy to go out for a beer with you... You're like everyone mate,.

I think this whole world is covered in a thick blanket of anxiety right now. Started in 2020, and we are all feeling it. Sometimes it's worse than other times, but it's always there. We all feel it. Your talking about it makes you all the more relatable. Love ya man! God bless!
@willlawton2143 Жыл бұрын
That’s true, strange things have been happening since 2020, I am super healthy and fit and I got put out of work from dizziness I was 26 at the time, plenty of otherwise healthy people I knew also had dizziness and vertigo. Not to mention like you said anxiety something I never before experienced. It’s like we are all being affected by the same change in something, we are in it together at least. We can hold on make it through to other side.
@fantasypgatour11 ай бұрын
@@willlawton2143 I'm late to this video but I am exactly the same, since the lockdowns in 2020 I've not been the same, I used to be a very spiritual person my whole life and since 2020 I have just lost it completely, I don't know if it makes me feel better or worse knowing others are in the same boat but like you say at least we have each other and maybe we'll all feel better on the other side.
@willlawton214311 ай бұрын
@@fantasypgatour We are all in the same boat, some just don’t know it because they don’t feel the waves as much (yet). Don’t lose your spirit, I know what you mean though, i have become quite a hateful person since covid, always winging about something or someone… I hate the world, I hate myself. But deep down inside of me is still that young boy who loved everyone and everything, I’m trying to bring him back out. I recently spoke with someone very important to me, and they reminded me that lowering myself to others standards or society’s standards isn’t going to work, we must continue to be good people, kill people with kindness. I hope you can bring that side of you back out, stay grounded and stay safe!

You might say you're not about mental health on this channel, however many experts say that the best thing for your mental health is getting out into the Great Outdoors. So by showing how easy it can be to go camping, you're encouraging mental health. And I think people get a feeling of simplicity and peace by watching you. 👍

In Sunderland's embrace, there's a lad so grand, Whose love for the wild is simply unplanned. With a smile as wide as the river Wear's tide, content in his soul, a stealth camper, bona fide. Resting at a beauty spot or concealed between wheelie bins, the dorsal fin in a shopping trolley, the laughs keep rollin' in. Little Mick, a man of few words, exhudes a gentle ease. Chilled out to the maximum, surrounded by woodland trees. An encounter with a creature of legend, a tiny fearsome Sasqautch, left viewers dumbfounded and in awe, definitley one to watch! Time for an aperitif, (a few caramelly candingos), two cans of Madri for the renowned mandingo. Though he cares not for the limelight, Little Mick's legend shines bright. Honest content guaranteed, The Bonny Lads gets it RIGHTS. Reviewing a dram from a land afar, two whasky connoisseurs, searching for that champion bottle, the pair - far from amateurs. The beak delves in for a good old sniff with eager expectation, in tandem their eyes sparkle as they savour each sip, quelling the craving. They discuss the nuances of this weeks brand, emphasized by the gesturing of Blot's right hand: "Rough but smooth...mellow but bold", you know it makes sense and it never gets old. "Sweet but sour...clean with spice.... I tell you mandingos, You better believe it's Rice!"

I for one, support you and your problems with mental health. It shows inner strength to talk about these things. Your symptoms sound like you had a panic attack caused by anxiety. I have bipolar disorder and panic disorder and have hundreds of times had symptoms like what you described. My problem is anxiety which is very different from depression. I have great safety net from mental health services, had therapy for four years and taken part in a couple of courses of mindfulnes and all these have helped but it has taken me ten years to find the best help for myself. Please get help by seeing a professional. Talking about your mental health makes this channel better because life isn’t always only good vibes and fun and you are a real, intelligent person with problems that so, so many of us have. Mandingo, I can't thank you enough for talking about anxiety in this video! It resonated with me so much as I've always struggled with anxiety but yesterday something happened that made it flare up really badly and I have felt dreadful. Shaking, feeling sick, crying, losing my appetite, but honestly the worst thing is it feels like every nerve in my body is on fire and my brain just won't stop overthinking. I woke up this morning and that feeling was still there, like a ball of fire/anxiety in my stomach making me feel sick and I couldn't shake it. My partner convinced me to go out fishing with him and it was miserable and raining but it was exactly what I needed. We walked up and down the river spinning and just being out and nature and focusing on something else helped me massively. Gradually that ball of anxiety in my stomach started to fade and things felt much more manageable. I feel emotional watching this and hearing you talk about your experience, because it couldn't have come at a better time. Your videos are always a source of calm and joy for me, but this one really hit home. Thankyou for that ❤ You're a top bloke! 👍

Hi Chris sorry to hear about your anxiety episode. I think it’s liberating for people when you talk about it. Very common increasingly. I’ve had it, something, someone in public places sets it off. Chris. I think the way you are getting anxious about being out in the busy streets is somewhat similar to our journey. Since we sold up the house etc and moved into our van over 4 years ago we find it hard now to go into busy places and feel far more comfortable being out in the wild or nature, or even very small campsites away from loads of people. I'm guessing after doing so many videos being on your own you have connected more with nature now than any other time of your life. As for the support you are getting from us all, I would say that a lot of it is because you are just 100% yourself and not pretending to be anything else for the sake of 'KZbin'. Great vid as always. I think another coffee might be on the way. 😁👍

I would also like to add if I met that I was 325 lb I am now down to 180 and I was in the hospital for 5 weeks out of a 2-month period just a month ago I coded and had to be brought back I'm still not 100% and I was told I may not be but watching you with your stealth camping and your wild camping and doing the things that I absolutely enjoyed to do means worlds to me please keep up doing what you do. Bless you for everything. Keep the videos coming.

I love to hear you talk about it Chris. I hear ya, the channel is dedicated to good times and laughter, so not all the time but I don't think you should shy away from talking about it occasionally, it's helpful to others going through the same thing, so please whilst not all the time, please do talk about it again

Hi Chris, i used to suffer them and that was exactly how i used to feel. It does pass though pal. When you understand your not in any danger the next time you get one it should pass alot quicker. You learn to control them. Bless you mate dont ever feel awkward for talking about it its very common mucka. Loving the content BTW.

Hi Chris, I remember when I first got ‘that feeling’. It’s awful. Sadly it was down to depression and social anxiety!. Over many years I’ve learned how to control it. I would like to say what an inspiration you are to all your subscribers, we simply love you and your family for who you are. I look forward to your videos on Friday and Sunday nights, you make people laugh mate just by being honest. You take care and keep them feckin brilliant videos coming that you do😊 take care bud xx
