well maybe Plaice are a good fish? wait no infact they are! one of the most well-known too! And so what you have Snapper in New Zealand, so what! They're not that special either! And we have plenty of other fish in our seas too! We have some of the best fishing in the world over here in the UK!

I see these guys out and about in the bay all the time. I see some (not all) of them with there expensive gear and top of the range reels, thinking there seasoned pro's. . and then theres me, cheap shitty rod and reel out fishing all of them. Same everywhere I fish. I never understood why these lads spend a fortune to catch a shit fish in a silt pit? But thats Morecambe Bay for you.

Being a different fish than snappers does not make them worse, each plaice is a tasty meal and worth catching. A different size drill bit is not better, just different. And if you don't have flat fish in NZ that's your loss in the same way that no snappers in the UK is ours
