You don't have to be rich to have a lot of nice clothing. There are a bunch of stores that have cheap but cute clothing - Thrift stores(online or not) , charity shops, maybe even garage sales . So you don't need a lot of money to be stylish

for those who arent sure about whether to get rid of sth or not, just hang the hanger the other way around in your closet and if after a couple months, you havent worn it and the hanger is still hanging the opposite way, you know youre not wearing it and you can get rid of it

Yeh, so much of it was looked fast fashion or 'bought for this video' ...I think folk seriously overestimate the appeal of 2nd hand fast fashion. Even if you donate it, it will likely sit in a charity shop for years or a textile dumping ground. Think the rule of buy less, buy less often but buy the best you can afford, your dream item - is definetly the advice to follow.

Yeah, charity shops defo enable people to go crazy shopping without guilt because "none of it will go to waste", when in reality most charity shops actually receive much more than they sell (that's how it is where I live anyway)

Btw, during the moment when you pointed out how the pants matched your hair I thought about how it would be nice to see like a lookbook or styling guide based on colored hair, like what different ways there are to make your outfits work with the bright color. I was always in awe of how amazingly u created outfits and how you had just the right items in the right colours or patterns that made me just say WOW to your outfits! In my silly lil head i was just was kinda like comparing myself like, ugh my styling sucks i cant pull anything together like she can. But for some reason i never thought about how, of course you would have to have a significant amount of clothes to draw from. I don't mean that in a bad way! Your ability create so many mindblowing, creative looks with the pieces you've specifically found or purchased is truly an amazing talent. That you can play around in your head like, "oh, this vest might look awesome with this shirt and this camisole and what if i add this hat to pull in the vest's pattern" is incredible to me. Its just like, nice for me personally, to see the reality. I'm starting with a 12-pack of pencil crayons from walmart and you have spent years, time, money, and effort curating an amazing experience 258 pack of pencil crayons. Great art is possible with both! And i shouldnt compare myself! You are super inspiring!!

Lot of work for this project and I think it is the perfect time to sell items online. With retail brick and mortar stores closed, purchasing online has become a thing. And you got plenty of time to handle this and could probably use the funds. My last day of thrifting was 3/22 because under mandate they all closed with the last retail stores. This will give me the chance to get my thrifting addiction under control and save money. I thrifted too much and this will give me time to organize everything. It take 30 days to break an habit, looks like we will be in isolation that long. I can feel myself going thru thrift withdrawal. Tee Hee I am working from home, my concern is for those that do not have this option and how it will effect their wellbeing and finances.
