How’s the reliability with the x47r been? Seriously contemplating a stage 3 setup and an x47r seems to be the cheapest way to go … however read a fair few horror stories online. Worth taking any note of? Interested in how it’s been for you mate

@ Jamie Im driving a x47r too, my car has now 74k km on the glock and still running good. 10k km with the x47r. The stories you heard are the ones with the cracked cylinderwall I guess. Thats when you drive your engine from low rpm with full throttle, because thats where the engine has to handle a lot of torque for a "long" time, cause of the low rpm. Otherwise the problem comes when you drive often in the high rpms, then its cause of the high movement/ pressure/ temperatures at the deck of the block. When you drive with your mind, then you spool your engine up before you give them full throttle. With the x47r the magic number of rpm is around 3500-6500 with MY feeling. Thats the range, where you can feel that the car has lot of power with this turbo. And then its a reliable car (not guaranteed) and worth the money.

I went to the x48, block has been reliable, but an engine mount broke and my fuel system has been broken for like 3 months already, replaced high pressure fuel pump, went to 30% bigger injectors because the old ones had 135000 km on them, and it was broken again in another 700km, now i've ordered a new 340l/h rear fuel pump with some headroom for the future, but it's all taking forever to get shipped which is annoying as hell

9-10 seconds 100-200, very fast :o are the rear seats stripped out? that's quicker than stock mk8 golf R somehow

Rear seats were in mate. Stock mk8 golf R wouldn't get a look in.

My M140i does 100-200 in 8.1 with a simple remap and no bolt ons. How is this impressive?

What your 140i does is irrelevant to this video. And I also didn't say it was Impressive, that was your own suggestion. Thanks for your unrelated feedback.
