Very kind of you, and thank you for the feedback! It sure helps to get constructive criticism (good and not so good) as I'm in a bit of a hermetical vacuum on this KZbin journey.

Just found your channel. I live in BC and have been to that rec site in summer. Looks beautiful with all the snow! What a great spot to ski. You are my first subscription of 2025. Look forward to more like this.

Stunning ❤ thank you for sharing with us Jackie, all that driving must be tiring in those conditions. Stay safe

Hi Jackie !! New subscriber here ... I am your neighbour to the east in Saskatchewan ... LOL. Right off the bat, I must commend you on your wonderful attitude and appreciation for nature!! May I ask what year your van is, and do you bother to put on snow tires?? Thanks, and hope you get over your congestion soon!!

Thank you very much! Great to have your feedback. You must be wondering what that lumpy landscape is if you're from Sask😆! As for your questions - I've got a 2015 base model Dodge Grand Caravan. I do indeed put GOOD snow tires on it - it's mandatory (and more importantly, smart!) in the places I like to go. All the best, and hope we see you again around here!

I really enjoy you showing the reality of Canadian roads in the winter! And all this random funny shots of half signs etc. and the apocalyptic no man’s “trail head”…whoa! Glad you got the heck out of there!

Really enjoyed so much your wintery video. The scenery ‘shots’ are wonderful. I love winter but haven’t experienced it for many years. Thanks so much for sharing. Subscribed. Looking forward to more! Wishing you continued happy and safe trails.

Thank you for taking the time to comment and subscribe!! I'll try to be worthy. Winter is certainly magical when you have this kind of backdrop. It'll start getting a bit 'old' when we've had 7 months of it back on the freezing prairies! Enjoying it for now. All the best!

Bless your big heart Kev!! Thanks so much. PS - blister is fine - every muscle in my body, not so much after that ski😆! Everything hurts in a GOOD way though!!

Great trail for the ski adventure! It's the type of terrain I would imagine those types of skis to be good for. Nice scenery on the drive! Do you pet sit thru a service or as your own business? You're very right that affordability with a "sticks and bricks" house is near impossible. I'm on the fence about cutting the cord but still working out the logistics of it all.

It was amazeballs on those skis! Yeah, I'm not sure I want to shout from the rooftops that folks should abandon their expensive, static lives for a rolling sardine can. I've been living different variations of this for so many years that I can't even remember what it's like to be in one place for too long. My ideal would be a small base (in Europe) for a few months a year, then on the road for work and fun the rest of the time. As for petsitting, I have my own little business but occasionally work through an app. I may be giving it up in a few months though...more on that some other time!! Nice to hear from you Lori - stay cosy!!
