It sure would be interesting if someone or a group of people with enough background knowledge on steam and the resources decided to take a real crack at making and possibly mass producing a modern steam car i.e. add competition to this stale market. The last one I have read about that could have and probably should have been massed produced was the Ford Falcon steam car made by Edward Pritchard. Anyways all one can do is dream I suppose. In 2009 there was a Steam Land speed record done by a british american group with a Steam Car built and designed with 12 boilers solely built to reach the speed of 151 m.p.h. (243 km/h) setting a new world record in steam, check it out it's called the Inspiration
