It’s kind of funny that the Friday right before this weekend marked 10 years since 630 participated in an excursion in Norfolk Southern’s steam program, where I saw it run through my hometown as the first steam engine I ever saw.

1:00 I didn't realize you were there at the Tunnel. I was setup on the Ballast Pile behind you! 6:30 my friends & I were also at Rock Springs but we were closer to the tracks. It looks you may have been on the edge of the road because the photo line went into the road 🤣. Wish I couldve talked to ya but there's always next time! Great video as always!

Always good to see a steam double header. And it's good to see that C&O dome observation car running. It was still in the shop undergoing restoration when I visited TVRM last year. I got to see it during the shop tour. Wish I could have been there for this trip.

Southern Railway 630 and 4501 are both amazing steam locomotives. I would like to see both here at the Tennessee Valley Railway Museum in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
