Which has higher EMF exposure. Dry traditional sauna verses infrared sauna. Comparing levels of EMF exposure
@juliem921163 жыл бұрын
I've been using traditional saunas off and on for over 35 years. An infrared sauna is like taking a golf cart ride when you're expecting a roller coaster. it's a lot of money to build up to the heat and then not get a real thrill from using it. I'd suggest going for traditional and keep it low while you build up your tolerance.

Is it possible to have a Dry traditional sauna in basement that does expose you to EMF?

My gym has access to both (steam room and Infrared Sauna). One difference I notice between using the two is I feel mildly 'high' after using the steam room. it goes away after about 10-15 minutes but I guess it feels ok lol. At this point I alternate between the two after each workout. I feel pretty good overall :)

Hi Matt- I love to sweat! I have known this for some time now. I want sweating to be a lifestyle and I am ready to jump into purchasing an infrared sauna. I am overwhelmed with the brands of the saunas. All I want to do is sweat. I want your opinion about your favorite brand and model without overthinking about it. Much appreciacation.

I'm thinking about buying Steam sauna by Almost Heaven Sauna. Have you tested any of their product? Thank you!

Hey Matt, I have a question about commercial infrared sauna at a local workout facility called Hotworx. They have a patented infrared sauna made specifically for the company. I am EMF sensitive so I’m researching before diving into anything. It is a large room sauna where you can do yoga or Pilates or do high intensity biking, etc. the room size is 10x12, so I am working out in the center of the room, 1-2 ft away from the heaters. The heaters are on 3 of the side walls only. They show on their blog a meter showing a very low electromagnetic radiation ranging from .1 to .3 as they move away from the wall. I would appreciate any observations or thoughts you might have about the safety of these saunas?

Couldn't you save money and sit in your car in the summer during the hottest part of the day for 30 minutes and get the same benefit?

Ive been in both in the gym. I bought a Portable Serene Life Steam Room. Very on par experience. No regrets, but if any of you are researching portable saunas or steam rooms, get a Serene Life or the Sauna Rocket. They both come in infared or wet and the wet is usually cheaper. I actually wanted to advise that even though the wet is a good route the can be higher in maintenance with the cleaning and the metal frame do rust.

Don’t know which one this is, but just bought another tent… like it, but my god the off gassing. Works well though

@@matt-justice Serene Life and The Sauna Rocket are basically hydroponic grow rooms that was cleverly altered into saunas and steam rooms. They are about 6 ft tall and 35inx35in that is about the size of a small closet. They come in infared or steam with the steam version about a hundred dollars cheaper and run under $375 on average for the infrared. They are quite interesting and a lot better than those small factors that you pop your head out of vs being in a full enclosure with way more moving room. I got mine off of ebay really cheap, but Amazon have them. I saw a Sauna Rocket Infrared on Amazon for $310. If you see it and think about getting one eventually, you won't be sorry.

Matt, I am looking at the almost heaven hybrid sauna. I really want my sauna to have steam in it because I’ve used far infrared saunas and steam sauna, and it helps my pain for me to function with the heat and steam. Does this sauna have a lot of EMF? Any suggestions would be appreciated Thank you!!
@matt-justice4 жыл бұрын
Hi Kate, I'm not sure I haven't been in one myself. I was very interested in hybrids until I found out most of them don't allow you to run traditional and infrared at the same time... you have to pick one or the other. I'm sure not every model is like that, just something to check before purchasing.
@Kate-qw8qm4 жыл бұрын
Matt Justice [Clever Leverage] Thank you for replying. Ive also seen the medical breakthroughs sauna is like this. I’d be ok if they didn’t run both at the same time as sometimes I’d want to just use it as a dry sauna, with the far infrared but I’m concerned about EMF?
