My husband and I made this yesterday before I saw your video! I cut it too quickly before it was cool enough coz we wanted to try it but then put in fridge for next day. Thanks for the recipe! Can you tell me what brand and size of steamer you are using please? My steamer isn't big enough for a 9 inch square or round pan. I ended up using some small disposable aluminum rectangular pan but it was also hard to fit in my current steamer. I had to keep adjusting to level the liquids.

Yeah, that actually makes a lot. I have 3 kids and it still takes us 4 days to finish it. You can just make 1/2 the recipe and use a loaf pan. I've done it before. I never made the mung bean flavor, though. I just make one batter, divide in half, put pandan extract in one bowl and vanilla extract in the second bowl with yellow food coloring.

Hi what is Arrowroot flour ? What can i replace it with . Thank you
@alwaysNforeverhlub4 жыл бұрын
Do you think I can replace the arrowroot starch with potato flakes? I don't have and other starch on hand right know. Read online for what can i use to replace arrowroot starch and it say that potato flakes is a good replacement for arrowroot starch but kinda nervous to use it as a replacement.
@CHerCreations4 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure if that will work. I haven't tried it personally but I would give it a shot and see how it turns out. Maybe half the recipe to try it out. It may not firm up the cake as much.
