steaming Quarry Hunslet complete!

Now fully weathered with couplings, and first of two side tipping wagons finished as well! I'm extremely pleased with the result on this - it works very well in every respect, and the technology is really quite straightforward.

Impressively slow running. What motor did you end up using ?

It an N30 3V 200rpm. (The N30 is the sane as the N20, but with a longer motor) Ebay.

Thanks. Quite remarkable that such a tiny motor has the torque to drive such a large loco. I wish I'd known about that when building mine, it took a long time for Slaters to send me the slower version of their standard motor unit.@@gilesengineer
