I am so in love with this journal!!! 😍 😍 so amazingly creative unique I can't believe how awesome all her tuck spots are how she used magnets. It's the most beautiful journal I've seen my entire life. She has inspired me to go out of my comfort zone and use things I would never think would look so amazing in my journals.

Thank you so much for showing how to do the binding! I love how it lays flat. I have a ton of mini albums that I'm making this year as gifts and I will be using this binding for sure on some of them. What I like the most is how you show using the cardboard stops on each side to keep it all even. Your sister's album is beautiful and I hope we will have a video soon of how she made the album.

I'm a new subscriber and this is the video that got me hooked! I started making an art journal quite some time ago and have been dragging my feet on getting it put together because all of the tutorials that I found were stitched bindings and I really didn't want to go that route. Now that I have found this tutorial on this easy technique I do believe I can finally finish my art journal. Thanks to you and your Sister for the technique and tutorial.

I just watched this video July 2017 and after reading thru the comments I hope all is well, as there haven't been responses. Your tutorial on duct tape binding was well articulated and I was able to follow. I presume that the opportunity never arose to create a video with your sister and her techniques. Again, hope you are well, I am now going to go check out your blog, I truly hope that you are still active with it. Best wishes.

The album your sister made is awesome! I make art journals using old book covers, and I love to use Gaffer tape as the to create the new spine. It's much like duct tape, but it has a matte finish vs. the shiny finish duct tape has. Though I hand bind the pages, this technique you show is awesome. It would be a great way to bind loose pages. Thanks for the share.

What a great use of duct tape. :) also saves your good adhesive supply for the detail work. I found doing albums I would run out of score tape and its more expensive then duck tape.

I agree, you do have a wonderful voice. I have a question which may have already been asked here earlier: Doesn't the duct tape binding get gooey and stick to everything it comes near, after having opened the book over time??? That is the number 1 thing I HATE about needing to repair anything with it. I know that it is the rage lately to make things with it, so how do you AVOID that problem? TIA this is the 1st video of yours which I have watched. Your sister is an ARTIST!
