Steamrail’s Pakenham shuttles featuring electric Tait set (Red Rattlers) and steam locomotive A2986

Today was a 30+ degree day with a government funded vintage train event.
To celebrate the completion of level crossing removals in Pakenham there was a family friendly even5 at Pakenham with a range of activities from face painting to rock climbing.
And to top all that free vintage steam locomotive and electric train rides between East Pakenham and Berwick.

One of the carriages on the tait 341T was built in 1913 and is now 111 years old.
