Completely agree. Maria really gets it. She's always soft, but always audible, uses great equipment, and never assaults your senses or makes annoying noises. I find CuteBunny or whatever her name is (the Greek girl) comes close, because her voice / tone is amazing, and her hand movements are weirdly hypnotic, but she doesn't do enough ear-to-ear stuff for me.

For me, this is Maria's best video so far. This actually takes me back to when I was babysitting two girls. One was three and the other was four. They both LOVED playing "beauty shop," and their soft, sweet voices plus the very gentle way they played with my hair was kinda like this video. No tingles, just a very relaxing sensation and a feeling of "hey, I definitely think I'm missing out on feeling truly taken care of and pampered." I think I was brought up to believe this kind of thing (spa time) was either extravagant or foolish. I know now that in truth, what's foolish is allowing oneself to be stressed out to the point of manifesting depression and other dis-ease. ASMR is just another avenue to explore the desire--and willingness--to receive self-care. I love it! Thank you, Maria!

I have 2 notes to self- 1.) Do not watch this while eating raw carrots. You can't hear anything. Finish your carrots and come back. 2.) MASTERPIECE. I have watched it almost every night for nearly six weeks! I never get tired of it. There are so many extraordinary components (to use a Maria word) to this video. First of all, the lighting. Maria has done an amazing job lighting herself and the shower curtain, both at the beginning and the end with the blue watery light behind the curtain. And the lighting during the extractions phase is almost surrealistic and dreamlike. Maria's crinkle shirt is heaven, and so is her shimmery nail polish. Her personal beauty shines forth in this video so strong, with her lovely twisty braid, and the gorgeous alabaster column of her neck (10:00, beautiful). I love how the video is so long, filled with so much intimate personal attention of various kinds. She keeps constant contact with you - her attention, her gaze, her whispers, her touch, her facial expressions, all to communicate with and focus on you. So incredibly relaxing, really almost intoxicating. I love when she says "ear muffins", just like everyone else, but I also love when she says she is going to "scoop" forward to examine your skin. I love during the extractions phase at 21:02 when she catches your eye through the magnifying glass and smiles at you. This video is such an amazingly generous gift to all of us from a true artist. Maria, you have given me so many deeply delightful minutes of feeling attended to and cared for, even loved. Thank you, thank you so much.

I completely agree. There is a small tone or something in her voice that also causes tingles for me. I really wish I could describe it better other than this but bare with me: it is like when a low end tone when she says in certain sentences that have in the middle of them some types of syllables i think. There is a sound that comes out behind that transition. I love the sensation it causes... kind of like when you are on the beach and there's that one sound between the murmur of the sea and the crash of the waves. Does anyone else get this too?
