I personally think that the 2nd one has the lie because the dolphin story is so specific it has to be true 😂. There is no way that you and your scene partner didn’t say anything to each other before filming, like I think some more words would’ve been spoken, even if brief. And the Heathers one had some very passionate storytelling for part of it to be fake.

09:56: I heard that that was a common thing, to just get the sex scene out the way because it's less awkward to do it before you know the person, or something. Also to just get it out the way, and also so that they can't really refuse because if they do, nothing else has been shot, so the actors are the only ones who will be losing out if they do so

Story #1: WHAT!? That’s crazy! Story#2: that’s one way to break the ice I guess 😊 Story#3: that’s professionalism right there! Good job! Lie: I’m actually not sure but if I had to guess I’d say the 1 story because you are too embarrassed for the third story to be fake and having “intimate scenes” with someone you just meet seems pretty common in the entertainment industry Question: what is an “intimacy coordinator?” (I get the literal meaning but isn’t that just something you “do” even in a pretend setting?) I’m not trying to be rude, I’m genuinely curious and I apologize in advance if I offended someone. I hope your arm was able to heal up properly!

An intimacy coordinator helps everyone feel safe and comfortable. Making sure that only the people that need to be there are in the room during filming. Making sure that all actors are comfortable with each other and the material. They also do coaching as far the movements and choreography of the scene. And act as a middle person between the actors and production team. It is something that should always be done and definitely seems like it should be a no brainer to do. But since the me too movement and the countless accounts of people being assaulted or feeling they were taken advantage of or something happened that wasn't supposed to...an intimacy coordinator is an advocate to keep everyone safe and protected. Hope that helps

Intimacy coordinators talk through the actors' comfort levels and make sure to make everyone feel safe and they choreograph the scene so that there's no surprises of who's touching where

You can look the second one up. It's "Midnight, Texas." And mishaps happen all the time on stage 'cause you do 8 shows a week and exponentially, something will go wrong eventually. So the dolphin sounds made up. There's no evidence he did an indie film that was never released. If nothing else, the producers would still list him in the credits of a film currently in post-production.

depends, most do but also most that have 2 they are physically close to each other, meaning one on the forehead and one in the hair or in a hat which JD doesnt have so if there was 2 they could have both been knocked out of place. My thinking with 2 mics is that one is broken and the second could be to far away to have picked up making it still true. IMO.

This is hard. I definitely think 2 is true. Especially if it was years ago. Intimacy coordinators are around a lot more. But not so much a years ago unfortunately. 1 seems so outrageous but I could also see it being true since I've been on sets that were hot messes and by the end they are asking for more improv scenes to fill in the gaps. And I could see a director like that hiding something like that until you were in the room and had already agreed. So I'm going to say it is the last story. I think Barrett did probably break your mic. But maybe there was a moment that you could sneak away and get the mic fixed. I do believe you probably talked into her head mic but maybe not for the whole length. Or it could be 1 but maybe not a dolphin. I'm gonna say story 3 contains a lie. I got the last 2 truths and a lie vid right so we'll see. But in any case I always love hearing your stories. The good and bad. I find it entertaining but also eye opening for anyone going into the business.

The dolphin sounds so silly it has to be true. Coming from theatre as a tech I have seen people talk into others mics so that makes sense but fot that long??? Maybe thats it. But the stranger with only a "hi my name is___" would be awkward and caused a lot of retakes (IMO) so I think thats it. Especally without an coach... Its number 2 that is the lie. Plus Barrett is always so intense in her shows that her ripping a shirt off and breaking the mic makes sense in my mind. And like I said the dolphin sounds to silly to be made up. I think.
