This is a mod for the Voron Stealthburner that allows it to be mounted on the Micro Swiss Direct Drive with All Metal Hot end. The purpose is to increase part cooling by using the bigger 5015 blower fan. It also cools on both sides of the nozzle rather than just one side like the stock cooling fan setup. This video should show you how to assemble the hot end. The Voron Stealthburner is well known for working well and as a bonus, it looks fantastic.
This can be used on Ender 3 and 5 Series 3D Printers.

Love how simple this set up is. But just gone to fit it on my E5P with MicroSwiss DD & Hot end. But come up against a little snag, the shaft on my extruder protrudes out preventing from it fitting, is a new creality 42-40 stepper, think they may have changed some dimensions since this was designed? Think going to have to take a dremel or something the excess shaft?

I have an Ender 5 plus with a micro Swiss direct drive and I'm about to put a creality spider hot end on it. Do you know if it will fit that hotend?

One thing you'll find about the Winnsin fans is that they are extremely underpowered compared to other same sized fans; their 5015 is rated at only 3.2 CFM whereas others are rated ~5 CFM. They also have a bad reputation for shorter than rated lifespans. I got burned several times on them and I will never buy a Winnsinn fan again.

This should work on both, but I’m planning on making in designed specifically for the Ender 3 series as well

@@ThingsByRoma I believe all that will be needed is the length of the part that goes behind the PTFE tube, get trimmed back a bit

Actually just finished printing and installing the backer piece onto the Ender 3, it's too thin and flexes because there's no second support hole all the way out on the right. Almost as if it's better with your original bracket but with the new upper spacing for the shroud mounting holes.

It should, but the extruder stepper motor pin is a bit longer so it may need to be cut

Doesn't work. The extruder shaft hits the radial fan. You must have aftermarket extruders. Also no compatible with linear rail conversions.
