The endwall track is required before you can complete your endwall girt attachments.
This track should be installed along the entire length of the gable (endwalls) of the building, starting at the eave purlin, and should NOT extend beyond the outside edge of the sidewall girts as it will interfere with the wall panel installation.
If you do NOT have a gable extension, then the outside edge of the endwall track will line up directly with the vertical face of the gable track previously installed. If you DO have a gable extension, then the outside edge of the endwall track should align with the outside face of the endwall girts.
It is good practice to place a galvanized member vertically flat against the endwall girts as a guide.
Align the endwall track and clamp into place at your first purlin. Do the same at the ridge purlin, or at the last purlin that the track touches. Install the track to the bottom side of the roof purlins with two number 12 Tek screws.
