На работе обслуживаю сварочную машину МСО-606. Она как раз варит арматуру в стык. А вяжут арматуру тогда, когда одна находится в горизонтальной плоскости, другая в вертикальной. Это для армирования фундамента.

Я чё то сначала тоже прихуел, спросони не сразу вспомнил. Я не прям мастер по фундаментам, изучал для себя, так вот да, правильно, обычно сваркой не пользуются при сборке арматуры. Но, представь, где то даже не армируют! Все зависит нагрузки на фу, от типа грунта, от уровня грунт вод, от годовых перепадов температур, погодных условий, фазы луны и ещё чего то... Так что и так сойдёт) а встык получается меньше расход Ме, экономийа!

They should have staggered the outer perimeter joint by a foot, then staggered the inner set of rear joints by a foot,but start one bar right (or left) so staggered front to rear and left to right. Still gonna change the metallurgy in the rods. Specs on new rod, created in a controlled environment & process is precise. The bonding joints are not all timed precisely, pressure could vary, wind increase cooling. Lots of unpredictable variables

And the weld is stronger then the actual steel because the flux removes all oxides and the weld creates a alloys. Not like the tie wires that usually falls apart when the tower crane pick them up and sometimes fall bellow on workers.... Happened to me twice 🙄

I'd stagger those welds, I imagine if you bend that,the weld will shear right off. A106 rebar here in the us is made for welding, it's significantly more expensive. If this is just "rebar" you're creating a point of fail.... much weaker than a tied lap.

@@VANO_Minsk Сварка для арматуры - это зло. Снижается прочность на разрыв. Только вязка. В интернете есть таблицы величины перехлестов арматуры. Зависит от диаметра арматуры, марки бетона, расположения конструкции... С этим лучше не шутить. А то будет беда...

For one it’s submerged arc so u not getting flash burn the lil spark u see is less than a cutting torch is giving off and it would take you longer to do one side than than he is doing the hole thing and there’s no exact measurement for that u fill the cup wince it’s dun u take it off and the unused flux drops into the pan and you keep on going plain and simple I’m not saying you can’t do it the way you are suggesting but I’m saying if there was a way to do it faster then you would be watching it and not this one look around and what they are doing and all the ones working on the job I can say if it wasn’t the fastest way and most productive way of doing it that man wouldn’t be working for them doing that job someone who can do it faster would be the one doing it

One of the first things you learn as an engineer is never to weld rebars together. You can only splice them. 40×the diameter. Welding weakens the steel rebar!!!

This is termite with resistive electricity to initiate reaction. To perform electric resistive welding you would need high pression to shrink the bars together. And pression and timing would be critical. With termite, you leave a nice collar, and you just need to fill the cup to put «about enough »

Most comments here dont know about this procedure..As per the Structural Welding Code AWS D1. 4, a low-alloy steel rebar is weld-able. This grade of rebar has a steel-to-carbon ratio that makes it suitable to be welded. Not only is it suitable for welding, but the welds can stay together under significant load after it has been sealed in concrete. Most of Japanese building constructon used this kind of procedure.

@@gustavogocer sobre tu pregunta, los còdigos de construcción indican traslapes de treinta veces (y más) del diametro del acero. Claro, varían de país en país y condiciones locales. El acero pierde su temple, súmale que esa es la segunda uniòn a esa altura.

@@alikgainanshin4931 Больше похоже на электросварку с защитным флюсом. Стык рельсов работает , в основном, на сдвиг относительно друг друга. По логике снизу ещё опора на ж/б шпалу. Ему деваться особо некуда... А стык арматуры работает на разрыв. А если они ещё и в одной плоскости (уровне), как здесь...

Why welding rebar is usually forbidden? I guess because welding tempers the rods and a 60000psi rebar changes back to a 40000psi low strength rebar. Am I right?

I don't think you're right. Heat is heat no matter if from a welder or this bonding heat. I think the only reason they do it like this is because carrying a welder with leads everywhere is not practical.

It's not forbidden. It's not practical. Run the bars next to each other. Usually 30 time the diameter of the bar is your lap splice. But the verys depending on what the engineer has for the given lap splics schedule. Some rebar can be welded and some cant. Never done in the USA Any rebar that is welded is a a706 bar. Here we do lap splices or sometime on big bar when there is not room for a lap splice we will use a mechanical coupler.

It can't help but change the metallurgy. Heating in uncontrolled environment, amount of insulator, length left on, wind cool quicker, ambient temperature. All have an affect on the bonding joint. Plus the fact that all joints are same height. I would specify alternating heights by 1 ft left to right and front to back. But, that's just my opinion
