Steel Picnic table deleted build scenes AND cost $$$

My steel aluminum and wood picnic was a pleasure to build even with the HUGE mistake in making the threaded tube ends! Here i discuss a few things about the table, mainly the direct material costs, and the deleted scenes which i feel should have made it into the other videos but simply could not due to time.
apart from quickly discussing the direct cost of the materials for the table, i also include the 3 scenes that I either deleted or compressed so far that the idea was lost in the original 2 videos:
1. welding of the 1/2" sch 40 tube ends to the welded adapters
2. fixing the mistake of making the wrong threads in the pipes, in the back yard, not so much fun
3. the rivet nut and hydraulic tool that installs the nut in the aluminum tube

thanks Jerry, glad you are enjoying them. the videos are definitely a lot of extra work that make my projects take longer to complete. in the case of this particular project i had 14 hours of footage to convert into 2 13-15 min vids... it wasn't enough, lol that's why i made the deleted scenes!

the hydraulic riveter is an amazing little machine. i had a manual mechanical one that i broke trying to install those very rivet nuts in the video. the rivet nuts were left over from a job from several years ago.

thanks.... i was crunching the numbers in the video but cut that part out since people can be a little funny about $$$. but my estimated cost including machine time and labor was between $4500 and $5K
