Animal House is hilarious. My mother didn't let me see "Saturday Night Fever" but she let me see "Animal House". I still saw "Saturday Night Fever" in 1979, when it was re-released as a PG movie. Animal House and The Sting are classic. I saw both theatrically. When I saw "The Sting" I went to get popcorn and went into the wrong auditorium. Saturday Night Fever was kind of raunchy because of the language, the sex scene in the car early in the movie and then there was the rape scene near the end. I was the only kid in the 6th grade that didn't see it. Two years earlier I was the only kid in the third grade that hadn't seen "Jaws". One of the kids in my school went so far as to skip school for the day to see Jaws. I finally saw "Jaws" when it was re-released in 1979. I saw it at the old VFW Drive-in. I have seen "Jaws" at the Mendon Drive-in 7 times before being hospitalized. They show it with either "Back To The Future" or "Jurassic Park". I saw "Jaws" at the Somerville Theater a few years ago and between that and seeing it at Coolidge Corner I realize that Jaws is a film best seen on a big screen.
