I was very impressed with the sound of the stadium. Washington deserves a better team than they currently have. However, I wish they would change their uniforms.

I was there my (now Ex) stepfather surprised me with Tix and my grandmother was there too ( She is a season ticket holder) to this day that's the only good thing he did. My grandma was disappointed that she didn't take me.

The refs in this game were absolutely criminal in favor of washington. Should have won by 35 easy if the game was called fairly

This game was much, much closer than the final score would indicate. In fact, it even seemed like Washington was in control of the game at first. Their crowd was loud and intense, their QB seemed to be scrambling for whatever he needed whenever he needed, and they had the lead up 7-3 and were 1st down in the red zone in the 3rd Q. But then they botched a play, ending up having to try a 46 yd FG, which got blocked. Then OSU suddenly chucked it deep for the first time all game and executed it perfectly, then the kickoff fumbled, then 2 Beanie runs and all of a sudden it's 17-7. Washington still playing well but the crowd is less juiced, and they once again can't score for some reason. They end up punting several times on 4th and relative shorts (times that it's not obvious, especially back in those days, to go for it .... but in modern times you kind of need to if you actually want a chance to win, and not just keep the score close. Then OSU, trying to run it out, hits on another big pass (they were like 2/2 on big pass attempted) and goes up 27-7. Late meaningless score is answered with another late meaningless score ..... and the final result of 33-14 is not indicative at all. This felt more like a 20-17 game that would be decided by one critical play.

I'd have traded Washington's QB for Beckman. He was hot garbage. With even a semi decent QB we would have beaten LSU that year.

osu has got to be the most penalized team in all of college fb history. Its 2023 now and they still havent gotten better.
