First of all, nice review! You have made some interesting points regarding Seiko and Steeldive. I have owned 3 Steeldives Willards, 2 were okay 1 had a very loose bezel action but reasonably aligned. I am lucky enough to have both the SPB 317 and 151. They are both extremely well made, and far exceed the build quality of Seiko 5s. When handled, the finish, handset and dial is definitely of a higher tier than Seiko 5s. However, where they fall short of the price tag is the movement. They tend to be very much luck of the draw. Out of 4 watches with 6r35 movement 1 that had to be serviced and regulated and 2 had brand new movements put in under warranty. They were running extremely poorly even out of their own fairly broad spec. Unfortunately there are plenty of similar experiences on forums and reviews. Does it worth the £880 to £1200 price tag? To me absolutely not. I have paid 450 for the 317 and about 650 for the 151. Used but like new condition with box and papers. If you consider second hand, they can be strong contenders in my humble opinion.

Wow you got some awesome deals! I hope Seiko starts using 6L movements in their watches above 1000usd, as I've only read disappointed comments about the 6R range

Thank you for your comment and sry for the late response!!! I mainly use a Fujifilm X-T3 with the 18-55 kit lens. For close-up shots I use my phone, galaxy s24

SPB151 is awesome, don't be put off by how flat it looks in pictures. The crystal has an underside dome and it's chamfered to reflect the markings like the 6105 8110, it's slightly smaller and squarer than the original and the homages but it's a great reinterpretation.

The rotating bezel construction is horrible. Not even a seiko standard replica. You will learn that when your replaced your crystal in case of scratches.
