I always tries to make the top part one link shorter (without the claps flipped) That way i feel like the curved part sits more comfortable on my wrist...

Where did you get the bracelet for your Seagull 1963?

On a mesh bracelett, one has only a limmited range for shortening in the clasp... If you give enough free play and shake the wrist one could have the watch turning outwards. To solve this issue I mounted my mesh bracelet upside down and now the watch centres on my wrist instead of turning away from me. enjoy!

Nice collection and nice tips, where they came of as tips. Sadly, there were only few tips (pins checkup and bracelet cleaning) which are great and very useful, but rest was all "don't do it this way". Nice dose of sarcasm, but too much bashing of your audience. None of the "wrong" ways are actually wrong. You can wear your watch any way you like depending od the type of bracelet, fashion statement or even an era you emulate. I have been wearing all my watches right over the bone or below it for last 35 years for two reasons, more comfortable to me and even more importantly because I always thought above the bone is reserved for old people and nerds exclusively. Your chrono second hand isn’t sitting exactly on the 12 position at the top after calibration. Is this normal? Mine is off the top hash to the right. The calibration stepping stops well before the 12, but the neck click puts the chrono second hand to the right of the 12. There is no “fine” stepping?

Seiko makes great watches. Seiko's straps are the most uncomfortable in the world.

I'm sorry but calling it a Flyback only applies when you can reset the chronograph hands WITHOUT pausing it. If you try doing that on this watch then it will either break or nothing happens.

Look at some of the vintage Bulova stuff. From Seiko I have a Lord Matic with a faceted crystal.

I got one for around £100 three months ago. I got 50-60 watches and use maybe half of these in rotation, surprisingly enough I liked this one so much that it’s the watch I have that gets the most use. I got for example 9 Rolex watches so I got many expensive watches too. But this cheap Chinese Red Star watch is a gem. I got the plexi one, 38mm with swan neck, but have not regulated it as it’s actually running very accurate.

I have a Hamilton Jazzmaster performer with the H10 calibre and it makes no noise at all. I build my first watch today and had that noise which made me think that I damaged the movement. Looks like its just because its lower quality and that it comes with some play, which is fine. I can highly recommend Hamilton. Seems like their quality for the price is insane.
