This is pure 80's metal ! I am 55 years old and steeler is one of my favorites.i can honestly say I play this album once a month even though it's been out over 30 years ! Wish I could go back ! Rock on !

I envy the ones who got to experience throwing a vinyl on for the first time in their metal poster covered bedroom, or blasting their walkman pumping quarters at the arcade. You can still do it but the vibe is completely different now. Internet made it so you can't go out and pick up girls they just do online dating. Kids these days mostly won't know that feeling of wandering a huge mall full of hotties who's parent dropped em off during a summer vacation lol. At times the malls were packed with more teens than grown ups.

Strike Back was the third album by the German heavy metal band Steeler and produced by Frank Bornemann. It was released by SPV/Steamhammer in 1986. All music by Peter Burtz, Tom Eder and Axel Rudi Pell. All Lyrics by Peter Burtz, except "Money Doesn't Count" by Burtz and Ric Browde. -Wikipedia Axel Rudi Pell is a German Heavy Metal guitarist and his band. Axel as an individual is often seen as one of the most legendary guitarists on the planet, thanks in part to his lengthy solos and powerful riffs. After leaving Steeler in 1989, Axel decided to start a solo career. He has worked with multiple members over his career, but ultimately got the sound he wanted with the pairings of Hardline’s Johnny Gioeli on vocals, Bobby Rondinelli on drums, Ferdy Doernberg on Keyboard, Volker Krawczak on Bass, and, of course, himself on Guitar. -Genius

I did not know there was a German Steeler. This one is great too, maybe better then the Steeler with Ron Keel on vocals and Yngwie Malmsteen on guitar. I like very much Axel Rudi Pell. I have quite a few of his solo cds.

Habe dieses Album zum 17. Geburtstag geschenkt bekommen. Heute höre ich es immer noch und bin mittlerweile 54 Jahre alt. Ein Meisterwerk das man nicht wiederholen konnte. Immer hart und schnell , dann eine Ballade die ihres gleichen sucht. Das beste Metal-Album überhaupt. Schade der Nachfolger nicht einmal etwas dieser Klasse hatte!

I have never heard this album and the only Steeler album I have rocked to had Malmsteen,Rick Fox and Ron Keel. Is this that Steeler? I am sixty and I am stuck in an era called ROCK and METAL so the rest can simply blow away. I cant wait to hear this disc so...INJECT THE METAL!!!
