I have seen several critical comments regarding T Austin. If he’s so bad, why is our defense so good! Everyone in this league has stars on their defense but our stars out shine most teams! Let him finish the job and we can talk about him!

The fix for 3rd down defense is simple: PLAY TO WIN THE DOWN! When I look back at Lebeau's defense, they all had one thing in common. They were aggressive and never played scared. Mike Tomlin needs to go watch tapes of his old teams and realize we've lost our way. Those Super Bowl teams we had weren't loaded with 1st round talent. We had 1st rounders at the most important positions, though: Nose tackle, strong safety, and inside linebacker. The other guys were day-2/3 and UDFA's.

Scheme up some packages with Preston, TJ, Alex, and Elandon on run downs, and throw Herbig out there with Peyton Wilson and the boys on 3rd and long for some whacked out blitz packages.

Bro, the o line was riddled with injuries early this season. 4 years ago, only one of these guys was even a Steelers player. If you have a simple, 1 year fix, I'd love to hear it.....

@@brucestack1658The Pouncey and co. line retired in 2020. My advice is: FIND THE PLAYERS YOU WANT AND STICK WITH THEM!! And don’t say we haven’t had guys that worked. Dotson is one of the best lineman in the NFL and we got rid of him for washed up Seumalo. Until they keep a group together for more than one season it will be a constant influx of, “We are developing….”

​@MrWellz412 weird choice of comparison. Dotson had an outstanding rookie season for being a 4th round pick (kind of like Mason McCormick this year) but then was injury prone following that. They would have had nobody on the line with more than 2 years experience so they traded hin and got Seomalu. Yeah, he may have done well with the Rams but that was not in anyone's projections. Hindsight does not make a good evaluator of choices....how many QBs were taken before Brady? What about Kyle's Garrett instead of TJ Watt, how about Antonio Brown being a 6th round guy? The point is, I wouldn't say the Steelers jacked up with Dotson...maybe I will give a little you a bit of leeway and say I'd have rather kept Dotson and got rid of Moore Jr. But how can you sit here and saw an unfinished rookie starting opposite his college position (RT) is expected to just come in and be dominant? O lines take time to develop, it is not an overnight or even 1 season thing. We have Daniels who is good, behind him we have McCormick who is showing himself to be capable. We have Frazier as a rookie who (aside from penalties being over aggressive when he blocks) has played extremely well. Seomalu has done well minus a game or two this season. Moore seems to be figuring it out but we have another LT in the wings after he recovers. We finally have a young, talented O Line with veteran presence to help them mature and gel. So quit with the "we are terrible, o line is terrible, tomlin sucks" rhetoric. We are top of AFC North, a top 3 AFC team, 10 wins to our name, and a top 10 offensive team. Stats don't care about your feelings, go boo-hoo elsewhere dude. You're wrong and the only argument you have is "we haven't won a playoff game in x years". Cool, how many teams haven't made the playoffs or won a playoff game in that same span? Quit being so damn emotional.

This was an obvious loss, out of conference game, and playing on cruise control, getting ready for a game to determine the division, anyone who thought the Steelers were going to win, weren’t paying attention to current situation.🤔
