Justin Fields is the Pittsburgh Steelers starting QB. Alex Highsmith is a beast and probably sets the edge better due to his size, but Nick Herbig is a better pass rusher! He just has a knack for getting to the QB. The new additions on both sides of the ball have been huge! Zach Frazier will be a Pro Bowler this year. This team is legit if they stay healthy.

Give JF all the credit in the world. He couldn’t p33 straight before he got to Pittsburgh. Now, he’s not leaving any drops on the seat. That’s all the credit he deserves. These three wins were EASY wins, and the Steelers would be 3-0 even with Kyle Allen at QB. Sorry, but JF still hasn’t proven anything except that he’s a capable backup, which is exactly the role he’s playing while QB1, Russell Wilson, is out!

yes ride the hot hand. But why commit. Fields could have a bad game. When you commit to a QB they get too comfortable. You should be able to pull Fields when and if needed. Look at Carolina they pulled their 1st round pick and put in Andy Dalton...he is winning 36 x 15. The Titans should be benching Will Levis too. This is where a HC fails. sticking with the cold hand.

Question for all the JF-lovers. You say you want JF as your QB1, so are you ready to see Russ traded? Do you have THAT much confidence in JF? Mind you, Russ will never again allow a WR to be included in a trade for him. He made that mistake in approving TE Noah Fant to be included in his trade to Denver. Noah Fant isn’t Travis Kelce, but Russ really needed Fant. That alone could’ve improved his experience in Denver. Wherever he goes, he will want his weapons to stay. So, you can forget about Russ’s destination team sending the Steelers a WR in return because Russ won’t allow it. He has a no-trade clause that gives him veto-power over any trade he doesn’t want. That gives him power over the conditions. If he doesn’t like the conditions, he can say “no.” So, are you confident enough in JF that you’re ready to see Russ traded to the Dolphins or another contender for a future draft pick? Let’s say you get your #4 back. How good do you feel either JF firmly ensconced as your #1 for this season? That is the question you must ask. If you’re not comfortable, reserve your judgment and wait to see what Russ looks like. My guess is that he will blow JF out of the water, but you JF supporters are hard-headed.
