For those of you who don't know: Rule 17, Section 1, Article 1, Non-Player on Field: If any non-player enters the field of play, and in the judgement of the official said party interfere with the play, the referee, after consulting his crew, shall enforce any such penalty or score as the interference warrants. Make note of the part where it says "score". The referee has the authority to grant a score to the runner if he believes the runner would have scored if said interference did not occur. I personally believe Jones would have scored if Tomlin was not in the way. Ref had the authority to change it.

First of all, I want to make it clear! I am not a Raven fan nor Steelers fan and do not hate or like either team. I am totally biased when it comes to both these teams which I respect as a NFL fan. Please do not deny the obvious. Tomlin was watching the jumbo tron from the inception of the play. He watched Jacoby Jones running his way from a ways back. Tomlin knew he had to get out of the way and chose to stay where he was even Inside the white line which was already illegal. Also, I watched & played the play back & forth at least 100 times....I am 100 percent sure Jones stays to the edge & scores a touchdown on that play! Tomlin messed with the integrity of the play which is in itself a disgrace to the game already being scrutinized with concussions & hits to the head. What is worse is watching the guys on NFL network tonight...McGinist, Tomlison & Smith coward down to say they don't think Tomllin meant to do it when we all watched him smile after the play knowing he interrupted the play on the field. Yes, the Ravens won the game anyway, but what does that do if they end up losing in the playoff picture? Who knows but it was wrong and the three men I mentioned on NFL network should not be on the show if they are too afraid to tell the truth in what they believe & watched. They are just trying to not be non-confrontational so they can keep there job after football. Too bad they don't realize being truthful is confrontational at times and that is what makes the news. I'm tired of the prima-donnas on the NFL network.... Give me ex players willing to tell me the truth without worrying a about keeping there job on the show!

Of course it's a blatant interference. That white strip along the sidelines is there for the officials to run up and down during the course of play. If play is underway and anybody else is there other than the players who were lined up for the play and get knocked out of bounds, or the officials themselves, automatic interference and they should be heavily fined.
