@rogermurray3234 Nope, earlier in the game the Ravens ran a similar play on the other side and when likely rolled out I saw Fitz roll out and covered likely and Lamar had to go elsewhere.. I noticed it in real time and taped the game. I looked at it again. So I am sure it was Fitz' assignment....

Not making excuses but having this gauntlet while having key injuries on both sides of the ball im kinda sad that we didn't get to see this teams real ceiling against the top teams...as soon as I saw the schedule I knew they had to start the year strong bc if they get hurt late season it's gonna be tough and that exact thing is currently happening💀

Russell has to stop fumbling the ball. He has way too many at this point. He is a VET so he should know to secure the ball at ALL times. It is just unacceptable.

I mean he was single high safety most of the time which always starts out in "no-man's land" out in the center of the field. If you're talking about the Likely TD, that was probably really more on Trice taking the bait on the flat route and leaving Kazee in an impossible position to cover that route to the corner. Kazee is ok, he's never going to be amazing but he's an ok starter and a quality backup which is what he's meant to be if we're healthy.

I can see new guys making mistakes but not Minkah and Cam Sutton. Queen seemed to indicate that there is an “effort” issue with some on D and they need to be weeded out during this offseason.

Seems whenever a backup plays there are major communication issues specially in the secondary!! Gotta blame the coaching for that they should know who knows the plays and who dont..

@@SadSoftLib well according to PFF, the 3 total most missed tackled games came this pass week, vs Philly and Browns in the snow game. All 3 games were their coldest so far. Don’t think they’re soft but don’t think it’s a coincidence either.

I don't blame the defense for the last two games because they created turnovers on both games, I put those losses on the offense. The turnovers and lack of scoring is the issue for the Steelers. Russ was inserted to win these types of games, he showed the flash vs the bengals in a shootout game, but the bengals have a bad defense. When we needed to win in a shootout vs the Eagles and the Ravens he couldn't do it and the costly turnovers sealed the game. I don't think Justin Fields will be healthy to offer a change of pace scenario for this game vs the Chiefs so we have to play another team that can force the Steelers into a shoootout. If Russ can't win these games or least hold serve, then why is he starting??? 🤔 If we're gonna lose ,then play Justin Fields for him to gain experience in playoff games, that being said, I don't see Russ winning these games and I want to know what is the endgame for the Steelers front office for the qb position. Are they gonna resign Justin or draft a QB. Because at this point to resign an older QB in Russ would be a mistake. We saw what he can do vs top teams. I hope Pickens plays this week for Russ sake. But Pat Friemuth is a weapon that wasn't used at all vs the Ravens. I like the usage of Jaylen Warren also. * Najee Harris is also a problem for this offense, he is not a starter, the starter should be Jaylen Warren, use Najee on short yards goal line plays thats his ability, but in the open field no, it's Jaylen Warren, to be honest if the Steelers committed to Jaylen Warren we would have a better offense. Jaylen is the better runnner, blocker , and reciver than Najee. Its time we stop playing players on name status or draft status and just play the better players. I would start Justin Fields to see how he complete in playoffs type games, and Jaylen Warren they are the most explosive players on offense along with Pickens. We need to consider those two over Russ and Najee. That is my opinion.

Steelers are not winning the division. They had their chance and failed. This team is going on the road and will be one and done. Chris talks like the Texans are viable win when the defense is so leaky all over the field, Stroud will carve them up. Don't forget too that this team for the past 5 years or so have started games slow, especially playoff games and it is always ignored by Tomlin and becomes the dagger during the playoffs. When you are down by 21 or more points, which is the average I believe for the past postseason games the steelers have been in for the past few years, especially on the road, its a certain loss. This team is no different, starts slow and just because Russ was able to engineer a few wins this season doesn't mean he will be able to come back in to post season with this team. Mark my words, this is a one and done team.

We cannot beat this Chief team.. Tomlin defense does not match up well with Andy Reid route combinations and overall play calls. Hopefully we can beat Cincy last game of the season for some kind of momentum.. 🤷🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️

Tomlin beat Reid with Alex Smith, Hill and Kelce. The difference is Mahomes, we been fighting Mahomes with old Ben and Picket type qbs.

If the players are unsure what to do and leave huge gaps in the defense, it's lack of preparation. The responsibility is mainly with the HC and the DC.

Kazee is hot garbage. Jones is a joke of a lineman. Wilson holds the ball way to long. Porter is overrated and soft. We have no corners, no receivers a suspect O-line and the list goes on and on. We are going to lose the next two games guaranteed there is no reason to analyze anything. We are also not going to win in the playoffs. 4 losses back to back and a 1st round exit in the playoffs . Not a overreaction it’s the simple truth and it’s getting real tired. Tomlin is the biggest issue of all. Enough is enough his ego had cost us season after season . What’s the point ? Take a walk off a short pier the season is over as of now. I will not watch another collapse at the hands of this joker.
