I think Stewart got a fair shot here - several shots actually. And he played well @ Pgh, imo. Under-appreciated. He took the Steelers to an AFC championship game, so he definitely "got a fair shot". Unfortunately, Kordell shat the bed in that AFC CG, if I remember correctly. Bottom line - Kordell was not the kind of leader that the Steelers prefer @ QB... and he was too inconsistent from week-to-week, as well. I don't think anyone else gave KS a shot after the Steelers let him go, so clearly Pgh invested in KS more than anyone else.
